leftyblonde: maybe?

Just got home
party's over
his wife and kid got there and I left the DVDs, so mayhem in the AM.
Most of the hardcore element showed up reeking of axe, thinking there would be strippers.
We ended up after an acoustic jam on the front porch, having an electric jam in the basement.
I made a fresh onion salsa and they tore it up.
Chopped onions, garlic, olives and dill pickle juice and taco sauce.
GO figure.

Mebbe so, I made it for a hotdog topping, and they thought it was salsa.
They ate it all up dippin' chips in it.

/I had some on my kraut dog.
//Steamed the can right on the grill.

Plus it as the full Termignoni exhaust, DP ECU and Air filter. Thing is fast and handles like crazy. I think I will keep this one for awhile.

No recession at ALUA's house. Nice bike.

‘’ 2012-05-07 12:41:22 PM
Even if I could possibly afford that bike, I couldn't leave it out on the streets here, like I do my cheapy Jap bikes. They'd pick that thing up and throw it in a van in 2 seconds. Shame.

21,000.00 plus exhaust, chip, air filter, top case, corbin and bigger wind screen. More or less 4000.00 in after market stuff.

It's a 2010 I got it used with 5K on the clock got a great deal on it 18K out the door taxes everything.

‘’ 2012-05-07 12:43:24 PM
I wouldn't leave it in downtown D.C. for any length of time. Just sayin'.

Insurance, knob. Though it would be a shame to lose it.

Nah, It doesn't work like that. Your bike is like a part of you. If it's stolen it's like someone cut your arm off. shiat even when you drop it, the first thing you do is make sure the bike is o.k....it's stupid but you get really attached to them. Kinda hard to explain that feeling.

Neat floating fender in the rear. Does it serve a purpose?

prevent kick ups & water probably.

This is 100% correct, I cried when the new owner took my CBR away.

I guess it will stop some of the water, mud and other stuff from hitting the bike. But not much :( I have cleaning bikes.

It's funny I do safety work at the race track near me. First thing a rider says when he goes down is "Is my bike ok?". Then when EMT shows up they say "Don't let them cut my leathers!"

Apparently buying a motorcycle causes an automatic loss of brain cells.

‘’ 2012-05-07 02:28:06 PM
It makes no sense.

Friday nights I always park my bike on 48 & 10th (east), one Saturday I covered for someone and I parked on 47 & 10th(west)....well we got to drinkin and smoking...anyways I gets out of work and automatically go to 48th and 10th...guess what? the bike wasn't there. I swear I almost started
crying like a little girl.."someone took my bike waaahhhh"...luckily the 3 remaining brain cells kicked in
and I realized it was Sat not Friday. I walked around the block & there it was, right into front of an Irish pub where I left it. Boy was I happy!!

dude, you never had a bike when you were 7 or 8. With the horn and ringy bell and tassles? And training wheels? I loved my bikes when I was a kid. It was like freedom even though I didn't go too far.
Someone stole my 10 speed in high school, i was really upset...I did get it back.

‘’ 2012-05-07 02:35:38 PM
that must be it

i never had a bike as a child

I had multiple dirt bikes. We didn't form lasting relationships. Maybe cause I kept breaking them. I did like the Honda CT70 though. I can say that the freedom they gave a teen was heady, but then I got a car.

‘’ 2012-05-07 03:29:30 PM
I rode one of those tiny honda shriner bikes around a few times. I was high school aged so I looked like a jackass doing it.

Who am I kidding I look like a jackass 100% of the time...

Ran a 5k this weekend. Finished...

‘’ 2012-05-07 03:35:16 PM
I guess if you grew up rural a car was the way to go. Bloomberg put so many bike lanes all over the place you'd think the whole city road bicycles.

‘’ 2012-05-07 03:38:08 PM
I had bicycles and minibikes and dirt bikes. But bicycles couldn't take you anywhere, we were in the stix. Have to ride a bike 4 miles to get to 1 friend. Cars were a blessing.

I've got all these silly race finisher medals. Got another one this weekend for the Palisades Half Marathon.

Some of them make decent coasters, I guess.

I almost gave Tokyo to the Pirate. But...it was Tokyo, man.

Would have given him SF, but that one is big enough to be a coaster.
