It's about time.

2010-05-26 2:31:28 PM
I'd hit it.

2010-05-26 2:32:01 PM
Now if only we can do the same to Texas too, all should start getting better again.

2010-05-26 2:32:38 PM
Stop teasing.

2010-05-26 2:32:44 PM
Nuke Jersey could be an AMAZING reality show.

2010-05-26 2:32:47 PM
How will they tell the difference?

"The review process is expected to take about three years."

And that folks, is why we're still dependent on fossil fuels.

2010-05-26 2:33:28 PM
Oh, if only...Wait, I live in Philadelphia! Shiat, I need to re-think that...

Maybe if we just shut down the Com-Barry, the Ben Franklin, Tacony-Palmyra, and Burlington-Bristol Bridges?

Soooo, if the Greenland glaciers do continue to melt, do they make contingency plans for the next 60 years or just issue hip boots to all the workers? Why not just build a sister plant in New Orleans while there at it???

2010-05-26 2:36:23 PM
So THAT explains the sickly orange glow so many of the people here have.

2010-05-26 2:36:46 PM
The fallout could be cataclysmic

2010-05-26 2:37:25 PM
Great, I'll visit the day after.

WrestlerManager: How will they tell the difference?

See, after the bombing, all the people will have this orange glow and their hair will stand on end...

... wait a second, how will they tell the difference??

2010-05-26 2:38:11 PM
Build Baby Build!!!

Maybe they will shut America's oldest working Nuke plant, Oyster Creek.
/design is a little out dated

Actually we're building a new nuke plant near here soon I believe

Add to our nuclear power capacity is change I can believe in!

THIS! 3 years of paper pushing to get this approved.

There's got to be some redeeming factor to living in NJ... or Detroit for that matter... Why don't most people simply cash out whatever they have and move onto a better place?...

No, it takes close to 20 years for a nuclear plant to go from inception to actual production. 20 years ago, you couldn't build a nuclear plant anywhere in this country. Things like TMI and Chernobyl were way too recent and misunderstood in the public's mind. Now people are a little more open with all the energy problems were facing.

Meanwhile, France covers 80% of its electricity needs with nuclear power and doesn't have shiat colored sludge on its beaches.

Ground zero should be the house that the jersey Shore kids are staying in.

I'll do it for 500 caps.

27 parks? I don't think those are parks. Landfills, maybe.

Yay, more clean power. Fark oil, double fark coal. We need this to generate energy while solar and wind power develop. And it's not like the uranium was doing much good buried in a hole in the ground. In fact, natural uranium is exactly the thing people are afraid of when they talk about "nuclear waste." Most of them are just farking retarded and think we grind up perfectly safe unicorns and puppies into dangerous uranium, and don't realize it's a naturally occurring element (as is a very small amount of plutonium).

Haste is not speed. Perhaps you might have noticed that there is some hazard to under-monitoring industries prone to low-probability/high-consequence failures?

Huh, kinda like how people complain about how we let natural occurring oil to spill everywhere.

Small? Parts per trillion contamination of the U-nat; "nanoscopic" would be more like it.
