42 years old, he's taking fantastic pictures from orbiting the planet. I'm commenting about it on Fark. If I've calculated all this correctly, my accomplishments to this point have amounted to almost nothing.

I need a tub of ice cream to make myself feel better.

I wonder if reminding myself that I spent a week on a different continent will help in the comparison. Chances are, it won't.

However I have done him a service. If it weren't for people, such as myself, who have kept their accomplishments low, he'd have nothing to brag about. There. That's an appropriate perspective. Without me, he's nothing.

Bonus, the article has a picture of my favorite astro-cutie Tracy Caldwell Dyson.

This does not top my plan to have a night vision webcam inside my coffin. It will automatically take one picture each day, and add the frame to an ongoing time-lapse video... both available on a website.

I've always been of the opinion that, while you don't have to pull someone else down to raise yourself up, you don't have to be on a mountaintop to see someone swimming in the sewer.

What's up with your torso? It tapers down into some sort of... carapace. It doesn't look like it has any definition, though.

Well, there's already low-orbit tourism starting up, so I don't know if a tourist EVA is out of the question in the next decade. Cool photo though.

It has to be a rare or unique picture to count, I think. Too many people can say they have one of those, so I don't think yours counts.
