US Govt: Hijack a shipment into the US, lace w/ cyanide, continue to rendezvous point, offload shipment.

Simple, huh? Doesn't cost billions and it will eliminate a good amount of the business from the user-side instead of supplier. Everybody wins!

There are warehouses FULL of coke already here in the US. Major distributors have stockpiles that will last years and years. They dropped production to keep the price up and to start to use up the stores, similar to OPEC curtailing oil production.

The biggest problem with cocaine nowadays is that it is being cut with levamisole, which is a de-wormer and destroys your white blood cells.

It is causing people's skin to fall off and get fatal infections.

I had the honor of using a pillow that had been used by a meth freak. The smell was so bad, I had to do a triple take, smelling it over again, as I thought, "They don't have a cat, why does this stink of inside out guts and cat piss?" I think they were drooling in their sleep or sumpn, but it did not smell human.

according to the study based on satellite monitoring of fields of coca.

I don't get it. If they can monitor the fields by satellite, why can't they follow the supply chain... field to truck, truck to factory, factory to truck, truck to boat? And then just search that boat before it gets to us? I'm sure I'm over simplifying the process, but sheesh, it's not like they have invisiblity cloaks or anything.

You don't need invisibility cloaks when you have infinite political power. Which the cartels in Colombia DO have.

The drug war isn't being lost because the "enemy" is so damn smart. It's being "lost" because nobody wants to win it. Too much money to be made in keeping it all going.

/legalize it all, I say

The worst thing about math addiction is that you think you're doing fine (and you're the only one who does) and think you can maintain the pace... then all of a sudden you reach the end of the equation and realize that it's the last page of the textbook. Soon enough, you'll find yourself trading blowjobs for a simple ratio problem that'll fix you for 2 minutes if you're lucky.

Well, we could just search every boat coming out of Colombia. But, I guess we wouldn't want to be accused of racial profiling.

Nice free market we have, until regulation fixes it.
