Day 3 - 8000ft evelation - temp. 45 degrees:
As I climb through the narrow pass in the rocks, I am stunned by the sheer beauty of this place. The trees, the rocks, the birds, and the flowers are mesmerising. And yet, I can't help but think that as I scribble these words within all this wonderous delight, there lies among me a thousand perfect places to stash that Mac-10 we used to cap that Farkers a$$. We should have taken that $#00000000%& body up here and chucked it off the farkin cliff. Those honky-a$$ cops would never have found it. Damn I need me some biatches and a cold 40. Farkin whitey judge is gonna PAY!

"Don't do the crime, if you can't do the....rustic vacation?"

Does anyone else think that most, if not all, judges are drunk with their own power?

I'm really sick of the Judges who give "creative" sentences. Who the hell do they think they are? Just follow the damn law.

Non violent offenders receiving extensive prison time should be made into road crews shipped to N.Y. to help clean up the mess with their sentence shortened if they are productive workers.

Uhh... your essay sucks, go to prison.

Love your idea. If one of them is killed by falling rubble, we've gotten rid of another problem; repeat offenders.

I say go for it.

Man accused of copying his mountain climbing essay from his neighbor. Sentenced to write "I will not copy from Marcus" on the blackboard 100 times.

Badger: ROFLMAO, great essay!!

I think it's lenient. This guy helped kill another man, and they're making him write an ESSAY? And encouraging him to go to the mountains, which is considered by most as a vacation? Hell, if someone got busted on drug charges or income tax evasion, would it be fair to make them just write an essay? Jeez! You have to do more than a farking essay if you just go on PROBATION! This fool doesn't even have to do community service or go to classes!

now now now...
we don't actually know how much the convicted helped in the murder. Providing a gun does not imply knowledge of the event nor of the situation in which the convicted provided the gun.

Tell judges to 'just follow the law'? No way. The judges have a much closer proximity to all the pertinent information about the defendants and the situations.

One of the greatest wrongs ever stomped onto the American people is the mandatory sentencing laws that have removed discretion from the judges. Possession laws that put people into prison for 10 years for first offenses? Ridiculous.
