Does this article really need the 200 x 300 picture of Matt Humphrey? He's not that photogenic.
2003-05-07 10:55:51 AM
It's Wesley Crusher's long-lost brother!
[image from stjoenews-press.com too old to be available]

/beam him up
2003-05-07 01:06:53 PM
It's all Richard Simmons' fault. Did you see his creepy mug staring out of the article? Beware the Fat Man's revenge, he obviously holds a grudge against the jocks.
2003-05-07 01:34:45 PM
I want the two minutes of my life back that I wasted reading that worthless piece of shiat article.
2003-05-07 04:25:45 PM
Egads! His pic looks like someone on a highschool yearbook staff from 1985!
2003-05-07 04:27:08 PM
I agree with everything the Star Trek flunkie said...
2003-05-07 04:27:27 PM
It's a trapezoid!

/sorry had to be done.
2003-05-07 04:28:40 PM

It's Wesley Crusher's long-lost brother!

It's either that or the first guy who gets it on an away team! (note the red shirt - he's doomed!)
2003-05-07 04:29:12 PM
So...What was this article about? The Dixie Chicks are playing basketball? Basketball should be less French? This guy needs to get laid in a big bad way? I'm lost.
2003-05-07 04:29:14 PM
"Has anyone consulted the Dixie Chicks"

Funny and topical.

Well played, Mr. Humphrey.

Well played.
2003-05-07 04:31:44 PM

St. Joe & Missouri Western aren't that photogenic either, given their choices, I guess Mr. Humphrey's mug was the best they could do.
2003-05-07 04:32:35 PM
"Must resize the court or risk 'increased rough inside play'"
2003-05-07 04:32:36 PM

Surely you mean Trapezium!
2003-05-07 04:33:25 PM
I couldnt care less.
2003-05-07 04:33:28 PM
Whoever can guess closest to my height and weight will get a free month of total Fark.

I can touch the basketball rim when I really try hard.
2003-05-07 04:33:33 PM
I came, I saw, I failed to care, and continued to not care.

(and I really don't think the dixie chicks give a shiat one way or another)
2003-05-07 04:34:40 PM
French basket ball?

"here, here's the ball, you take it, may i help you to our rim? want a boost?"
2003-05-07 04:35:20 PM
I am not Matt Humphrey. And I don't know what a trapezoid is either.

5 inches and a couple pounds?
2003-05-07 04:38:21 PM
I didn't even know anyone played basketball outside of North America, much less the FRENCH. I thought they thought they were too good for our all-American sport.
2003-05-07 04:38:27 PM
6'2" 175
2003-05-07 04:39:03 PM
I think we should require the college girls to play shirts and skins......the better looking girls playing skins that is!!!! Or we could do Tops and Bottoms, one team wears tops and no bottoms and vice versa for the other team.....girls that is and it doesnt have to be just basketball, tennis, softball, etc..
2003-05-07 04:39:10 PM
6'0" 175lbs
2003-05-07 04:39:52 PM
Tarvuz, I'll do 6'4", 210
2003-05-07 04:40:01 PM
You're thinking of horeshoes.
2003-05-07 04:42:02 PM
we have a french guy on the Dallas Mavericks (sucks, wasnt picked to play during playoffs) and he plays like he is playing against some germans, he sits there and does nothing while the other team drops bomb after bomb on him!! A total farking wuss on the floor!! Damn french, can talk shiat but are a bunch of pusses when it comes to real action!!
2003-05-07 04:42:32 PM

Matt's mom dresses him funny.
2003-05-07 04:45:22 PM
Man, Matt Humphrey is such a douchebag.
2003-05-07 04:45:50 PM

if this is true, than Parker is the exception, but I suspect that his daddy was a black man and that is where he gets his talent!!
2003-05-07 04:46:29 PM
2003-05-07 04:48:01 PM

Yea, I noticed he was a little darker than me, but he still grew up in Paris.
2003-05-07 04:48:57 PM

"Whoever can guess closest to my height and weight will get a free month of total Fark."
I'd rather win anything in this general area right in here. Anything below the stereo and on this side of the bicentennial glasses. Anything between the ashtrays and the thimble. Anything in this three inches right in here in this area. That includes the Chiclets, but not the erasers. "
2003-05-07 04:52:28 PM
A great "The Jerk" reference.
2003-05-07 04:52:37 PM
so far eskimo is the closest...overall

I think that we should keep the basketball rules the same.
2003-05-07 04:53:59 PM
The 3-pt line DOES need to be moved back. 19-9 is a joke. But I agree, they had better not mess with the lane. A trapezoid would be stupid.
2003-05-07 04:54:09 PM
5'8, 129
2003-05-07 04:54:19 PM

Tarvuz: 8'6", 490 lbs. - Bill Brasky-size
2003-05-07 04:56:08 PM
Uh...America INVENTED basketball! Why should America have to care about the way the rest of the world plays the game? The NCAA isn't hosting international games, are they?
2003-05-07 04:56:24 PM
6'1" 177
2003-05-07 04:57:02 PM
Tarvus 5'11, 180?
2003-05-07 04:57:11 PM
Maybe Shaq will finally get called for travelling on his spin move to the hole.
2003-05-07 04:57:30 PM
An American living in Canada invented basketball. USA vs Canada. Here we go.
