The popular 'moon landing' type theories just distract you from the real ones.
2001-09-25 03:32:48 PM
Why? Because after the misinformation and propaganda
campaigns fade, they often turn out to be true.
2001-09-25 03:45:25 PM
I'm not a conspriacy theorist by any means, but boy do they make for interesting reading.
2001-09-25 03:49:27 PM
boobies : I agree with you
2001-09-25 03:49:57 PM
What? The Isrealis left before the attacks?!?

I'm setting up a website to investigate this right now!
2001-09-25 03:59:25 PM
Anyone who knows anything about government knows that cover-ups and spin control are a part of the game.
2001-09-25 04:00:23 PM
Just curious, anyone out there believe JFK was shoot by Lee Harvey Oswald?
2001-09-25 04:05:58 PM
Warning: FARK contains subliminal messages
2001-09-25 04:07:11 PM
Meant to say shot (obviously)

We need conspiracy theories so the mass media can keep feeding us the information they want us to hear and thereby controlling our every...um....,er....,ahhh..... nevermind.
2001-09-25 04:31:28 PM
We need to at least accept the possibility that conspiracies exist or we could be led down a path of disinfo and lies. That article lost all credibility when they insinuated JFK wasnt killed by a conspiracy. Probably written by the CIA or NSA. Does that psychologist even exist or is it a figment of some Fed's imagination?

'Just because you're paranoid - doesn't mean the world ISN'T out to get you'
2001-09-25 04:34:59 PM
Well that moonlanding conspiracy sure was convincing... If the moonlanding did take place, they probably tried to make it look like a conspiracy! Thats how good it was!
2001-09-25 04:48:15 PM
Maybe we need a conspiracy theory on why the media is constantly trying to convince us that all conspiracy theories are merely theories. "Ha ha, look at all those silly people, pretending that Oswald didn't do it. It's so obvious, I mean our government told us Oswald did it, so he did it, right?"

Conspiracy theories:
1. Help keep one's mind open to more possibilities
2. Are fun and entertaining (exept the one about the aliens breeding us so they can eat our souls. That one creeps me out)
3. Like any theory, sometimes turn out to be true.

Anyone who seriously believes that the most powerful government in the world (USA) doesn't have some sort of conspiracy or other going on is only fooling themselves. Of *course* the CIA killed Kennedy...sheesh. The Warren Report is so full of holes, you could drive a Mack truck through it.
Obviously the Illuminati is behind this one.

The Isreal connection is a red herring. The crash was organized by the Republican party and Amtrak. They needed a way to improve the president's image and to boost rail traffic.

You would think if they wanted to attack a symbol of America they would hit the Empire State building. They chose the World Trade Center so they could boost regard for the World Trade Organization. Also by hitting such a multinational locale, other nations would more readily join in the fray, searching for a scapegoat that the United States wanted dead anyway.

I have proof of all of this, but if I let you see it, your life would be in jeapardy.

No you've got it all wrong! It's the penguins that control the eskimos, who control the jews, who run the world. Get it right. If i'm wrong explain israle linux geek eating eskimo pie! huh... Huh... did'nt think so HA!

He's real, but I think they forgot to mention that the CIA has pictures of him licking crushed Xanax off a goat's ass.

Are the voices in my head bothering you?
2001-09-25 05:44:24 PM

2001-09-25 05:55:55 PM

2001-09-25 06:07:50 PM
Forgive me. I was wrong.

That is a very well done spoof site.
2001-09-25 06:15:50 PM
we need conspiracy theories because
1. they embody the very principles of an open society in which criticism of the government is not only allowed but encouraged
2. they inculcate a healthy attitude toward journalism and the mainstream journalistic processes
3. they might be true
2001-09-25 06:44:51 PM
We need conspiracy theories because:

There's only so much IT work out there, and if we're busy passing around the latest JFK conspiracy theories, more people can be employed to do less work, thereby validating our employment to our cost-cutting bosses.

Who holds back the Electric Car?
Who makes Steve Guttenberg a Star?
2001-09-25 07:16:26 PM

2001-09-25 08:50:37 PM
0tis: "Who holds back the Electric Car?"

The extension cord.

2001-09-25 09:33:44 PM
If there's anyone that honestly thinks that our government can actually keep a secret, all I have to say is LOL.

Think of how many things have been leaked oer the past years. If there was some massive government conspiracy going on, do you think they would have been able to keep it secret for long?

Sheesh people. Next thing you know, you'll be telling me about the Flat-Earth society.

For those with an open mind:

0tis: The Stonecutters!!

Anybody remember the X-Files where Mulder and the government guy switched bodies? He was talking to the Lone Gunmen and telling them "I love you guys, you publish all this crap we feed you and nobody knows what to believe. [reads headline] 'Saddam Hussein prepares huge robot army,' Ha! That's so ridiculous. There is no Saddam Hussein. He's a dinner theatre actor from New Jersey,"
2001-09-26 02:49:45 AM
The WTC attack is BS. I was just in NY and the towers are still there.

Damn government trying to fool us.
2001-09-26 04:31:51 AM
I'm not paranoid.

I'm right.
2001-09-26 05:42:14 AM
You're never alone with paranoia.
