...most irresponsible President in our history

Like I said, you're obviously an idiot. You just said this book sits on my bookshelf. What a farking idiot. What the fark did I just say? I will recap.

"The only thing worse than a die-hard right winger is a die-hard left winger who thinks he is any better than the right winger. More people should be moderate. It only makes sense."

So I'm afraid, mister farking moron, that this book is not sitting on my bookshelf. You are yet another misguided political extremist who cannot seem to realize there is a gray area in politics. What a douchebag you are. Your profile says you're located in Vancouver, which really makes me wonder why you think your ridiculously biased opinion matters at all in this case, seeing as how these are United States presidents in these links.

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't hear a single liberal call WJC a chickenhawk, when he bombed Iraq, invaded Somalia, sent missiles to Afghanistan and warred in Bosnia. Heck, WJC never cleared any of those actions with the UN, but the liberals didn't protest and call him a war criminal and warmonger.

HOW COULD THAT BE?

If we didn't go to war in Iraq then there would be NO casualties.

LMFAO@the above statment.

Ex-Iraqi regime caused more civilian casualties then this farking war.

BTW King_Nothing, All flaming a political BS aside love the screen name!

GEAH--Actually, I did raise the question when he bombed the bejeebus out of Iraq when the BJ question came up...but maybe that's just me. I still think that this action is questionable at best, at least for the stated reasons. I dislike the bait and switch that the Administration is playing.

Again, the situation with Iraq right now is like pulling a woman from a burning wreck and feeling her up after you give her CPR...

Bill Clinton was immoral asshat and disgraced the job of being the President of the United States. End of story. Nothing more to see her move along.

That's got to hurt!

I guess it's because we didn't have to. Did you miss the whole Republican/Rush Limbaugh bashing of Bill Clinton for 8 years???

And, gee, did he unilaterally start that war? Did he have the backing of NATO? Was he dragged into it??? Did we actually send any ground troops in?

Could we bring this one back on Monday when everyone is sober?

Could be the best thread ever.

Plus then we can have the Eurofarkers and the people w/ in the USA & AUS jobs go at it.

This one could be just too good for the weekend.

It just doesn't seem right to go over GWB in prime time and then under the cloak of darkness bring out Billy Clinton's record. Seems kind of like CNN. You know what I mean, and please don't go there Drew & Co.

Just Checkin in,

He is a non-factor, why bring him up?

You may be right, but this type of play is usually for the daytime (US)dogs. Of which you run with. My point is/was wouldn't you like debate prime time?

I'm just tired of the right wing bashing Clinton. While I am a nothing (no political affiliation), I don't think blaming the ills of the world on a former president gets you anywhere.

As for 9/11, I honestly believe that it would have happened no matter who was elected. The point of terrorist attacks is to catch you off guard, which is essentially what happened of course.

Just to set the record straight...

Wow. I'm simply astounded by some of the people in here.

Both Pubes and Clit-in got out of the war in Vietnam. Both screwed up. Both suck. Almost all Presidents suck.
Screw YOU guys, I'm goin' home!

And the majority of recent wars have started when Democrats are in office...of course, you'd never know that after hearing a certain political group complain.

Both Repubs and Democrats should have a nice big steaming hot cup of STFU.

2003-04-12 5:30:35 AM
There's no way around it. Bush is for protecting America and making us stronger. Even if he is still polluted with altruism.

Al Gore and most Democrats would sacrifice us on the alter for every stupid marxist and green (modern enviro marxists) idea that comes down the pike.

I'm an atheist, but I say thank God that Bush:
1. Took us out of that stupid farking can't use missile defense treaty.
2. Killed that farking stupid Kyoto treaty dead dead dead.
3. Is cutting taxes and promises to keep cutting.
4. Is mopping up terrorist dictatorships in the Middle East.

Keep up the good work and I'll vote twice for you next time!

2003-04-12 6:23:16 AM
I doubt Al Gore is a marxist or would support marxism in any way.

2003-04-12 6:56:11 AM
For all you dumbasses out there who think that Gore and/or the democrats are Marxist: consider this...

Marxism teaches that there should be a place for everyone. Marxism teaches that everyone should work to benefit the community.
Marxism teaches if one has more than others, he should give to those that are poor.

I know, we're all recoiling in fear at such radical anti-american ideals, but ironically enough, these are also core teachings in the New Testiment that the Republicans are always trying to ram down everone's throat.

As far as Marxism teaching atheism, look at the world around us. Religeon has been responsible for numerous episodes of world violence. It is no wonder that Marx envisioned a lack of it. You also need to remember that his famous "religeon is the opiate of the masses" notion was at a time when it really was the only thing that propagated governmental control over people. Why else do you think the Republicans want to bring it back so badly, then instead of having to manufacture evidence and spend so much time trying to discredit their opposers, they can just say "because God said so".

Republicans are a funny bunch. "Thou shalt not kill" is a powerful holy truth when it comes to abortion, but strangely it gets misplaced when it comes to executing "criminals" or starting wars and invading countries for political or financial gains.

Republicans and Democrats both tend to be hipocrits, but I just find that Democrats are a bit less so. When it comes to religion, I would much rather have someone who can see how religeon can be abused in polital venues than someone who invokes God and notions of evil and the devil to justify what he does. I don't really see the average conservative republican to be much higher on the scale than Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggart or any other of those semi-retarded sunday morning bible thumpers. They invoke the name of God for money, fame and power. You tell me the difference.

It's funny how Republicans seem to think that anyone can be completely discredited and everything someone has said or done tossed out the window merely by labeling them a marxist, when most of them don't even realize that many of the core ideals of marxism came straight out of the bible they claim to believe in.

2003-04-12 6:57:29 AM
and as far as Bush is concerned, I suspect that he is about one genome shy of Corky.

2003-04-12 7:58:50 AM
Any of you other liberals tired of the non-stop republican drum beating?

I dont have to apologize for not supporting the war.

"...Republicans are a funny bunch. "Thou shalt not kill" is a powerful holy truth when it comes to abortion, but strangely it gets misplaced when it comes to executing "criminals" or starting wars and invading countries for political or financial gains..."

The same can be said for the democrats. They are anti-capital punish and pro-abortion. Shoot according to Barbara Boxer "A child is not a child until it is brought home from the hospital", so partial birth abortions should be legal, but the death penalty is a cruel form of punishment. The wishy washy logic comes from both sides of the spectrum, not just one.

How exactly did those 4 things help us Brazil?

Democrats are Pro-Abortion.

Not really, Democrats are "Pro Choice." Pro abortion insinuates that you are somehow going to be made to have an abortion, or encouraged to.

Democrats are not going to encourage you to have an abortion, but they will let you decide what you want to do. Better than being told what to do by a bunch of people who have no right to be telling anyone to do anything.

Well-dont take my word for it, this dude actually read and reviewed it on amazon

Wow, this book was lousy, April 10, 2003
Reviewer: Anthony D from Wayne, NJ United States
Let me begin by stating that I am not a fan of President Clinton. This book is without a doubt one of the most poorly written, one-sided, and unsubstantiated books I have read. The author mentions time and time again that he is not politcially charged and had no axe to grind. Well, like the liar that keeps repeating himself in an effort to get you to believe him, this author is not being honest.

The points he attempts to make are specious at best, as evidenced in his remark that President Clinton is racist. He offers several short anecdotes to corroborate this opinion. For one, he mentions that President Clinton often "ducked" calls from Jesse Jackson. Wow, he IS a racist. Simply not wanting to talk on the phone with Mr. Jackson makes people racist now. Another time, while the Presidential entourage was stopped at a Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice, a young female aide was heard asking Tony Dungy (a BLACK head coach) if he could tell her where the head coach was. OK, now if your aide doesn't know her NFL head coaches by sight, that makes YOU a racist. Best of all, Alexis Herman, the Afro-American cabinet secretary, once asked a black enlisted man to grab her bags from Air Force One. What a racist Clinton was!! All this time, and I never saw it.

Of course I am being sarcastic, and you are probably saying to yourself "This reader must be joking, or at the very least he is leaving out some details". I assure you I am not. This book is a joke, please do not buy it and allow this huckster to achieve his goal. This book was written for no other reason than to make money on childish and bitter hearsay.

I've identified your problem. Your fallacious belief in god where there is not proof. I don't have to reason away god. There is not god.

You have to pretend there is a god because there is not proof. Why no proof? Because there is not god.

It's really not complicated.
