Jamieboy: citizen_stew: Lol, while it was a dick move, I generally support anyone who throws objects at corrupt politicians. I liked it when Sarah Palin had tomatoes thrown at her (lol, FAIL when it hit a cop) and I support it here to. Excellent pic.

Yeah, it is fun when we throw things at political people we don't like or absolutely despise, but lets try to stick to nerf balls, pies or other harmless objects.

Berlusconi may be a rather randy jerk, but, wow, that was harsh.

Lets save the heavy duty objects (like red wing steel toed boots) for the politicos that deserve it like Palin, Bush, Coulter, Blair, Beck, Falwell (oh, wait, I already took care of him) anyone connected with "C" street etc. I kid!... kind of.

Considering how many governments Italy has had since WWII, I'm surprised an Italian PM hasn't been sucker punched before. That would be an interesting thing to research: have any been assassinated, kidnapped, cock punched?

That's the selection process. If you can take a right cross to the yambag, you get to be PM for a year.

McManus_brothers: He still seems pretty tough, though: in the video you can see that he tries to go after the dude until his bodyguards hustle him away into his limo. Would've been funny to see him whoop the guy's ass.

"Silvio!! Whaadda they done to your beautiful faaaace?"

No, this is what happens to a 73-year-old Italian PM trying to pass himself off as being in his prime:

What sort of yellow-bellied piece of crap would ambush an old guy? What a he-man, cold-cocking a 73-year old ... from a distance.

2009-12-14 7:55:47 AM
The guy is corrupt, fascist and a hate monger. A smack to the face is the least that someone who commits all those crimes and unethical actions should get.

WFern:
You really think that was appropriate?

Hell yes. The dude that did it is gonna take a mafia hit though, poor guy.

Not sure where you get that from. I, for one, would be just as happy to see Ahmadinejad receive a mosque to the face as I am with Burlesconi's cathedraling. More so, even.

Screw this guys nose- What about the story that just broke saying that he's tied to the maffia? The same branch of the maffia that silences political reporters...

Berlusconi should be on "Jersey Shore." He'd be like a king to the Oompa Loompas on that show.

I saw 3 pigeons farking the corpse of another pigeon outside Milan Cathedral. The dead pigeon's head was crushed to a mushy pile of feathers and mince so it was extra hott.

/cool story bro

Berlusconi is what you'd get if you added up all the worst traits of Tony Soprano, George W. Bush, Kim Jong-il, and Rupert Murdoch. It's not like him getting twatted with a heavy object and his teeth knocked in is going to change anything or make anything better, but I'm happy it happened. He's a fairly decent candidate for 'worst person on the planet'.

2009-12-14 9:25:48 AM
Uh, is it just my monitor, or is WFern's screengrab of ZombieBerlusconi?

Also, the guy who did it was reported as under long-term psychiatric treatment...probably not a political thing per se.

The_Sponge At least it didn't happen in France.

Have you SEEN the Duomo di Milano? It's gawdy gorgeous with more spikes than a sea urchin. The dude is lucky to be alive.

PunGent: Also, the guy who did it was reported as under long-term psychiatric treatment...probably not a political thing per se.

Thanks for mentioning this^

To the people showing compassion for Berlusconi: It's not like a pre-meditating sane person attacked him.

Still sad to see a 73 year old assaulted, but there are mitigating circumstances. It sounds like we are dealing with a person who doesn't adhere to society's contract.

2009-12-14 9:35:52 AM
^Also, Berlusconi is a corrupt, whoring politician, not seen since the days before mass media.

He changes/circumvents the law to protect himself like a dictator would, and thinks that the rest of the world won't notice.

2009-12-14 9:35:55 AM
So the Joker (to be) is actually Italian?

2009-12-14 9:37:12 AM
The only time I wasn't embarrassed for our nation to be represented by Bush was when he successfully dodged that shoe. I had to admit that was pretty impressive.

Berlusconi actually runs his country. Ahmadinejad is just a puppet of the Ayatollahs. Nothing happens in Iran without the Ayatollahs approving.

Gunther: Gelatinous: The man's a fascist.

The word "fascist" gets used as an insult instead of a descriptive term these days, so much so that it's pretty much lost all meaning; liberals called Bush a fascist and conservatives are calling Obama one. It's annoying as hell, and it means that if a REAL fascist ever runs for election, no one's going to bat an eyelid, because the word gets thrown about so much.

Berlusconi should see jail time for the ridiculous number of crimes he's committed, but he isn't a facist.

Shut up fascist

\Five most inappropriately used word in the English language. Fascist, Hitler, Nazi, friend, fun

It doesn't matter. Sneak-attacking an old man is the height of cowardice.

This guy is just a crook like every other politician in history.

Flying buttresses on the Milan cathedral.

Baroque is 16th-18th century. Gothic is medieval.

I think it's hilarious. The man is above the law and this statue to the face is probably the only bit of punishment he's going to suffer for urinating over his countries laws and constitution.
Try google some of the scummy murderers this man is connected with.

I haven't laughed so hard in ages. This couldn't have happened to a more deserving person. I'm looking forward to part 2 Silvio!

And you're not a fascist, of course. Just someone who believes that physical violence is justified against people whose political opinions are different than yours. Which is nothing like fascism.

Scratch a Fark liberal, find an Internet Tough Guy with impotent fantasies of violence against conservative politicians... too bad for them that our side has all the guns.

I do. The man's a fascist.

Then again, I'm for bringing back the guillotine and using it on white collar criminals. Particularly those who engage in fraudulent financial dealings, or allow such dealings to happen under their watch.

You sound broke.
