Let's make sure everyone understands that Norman Lear is this guy, [image from pbs.org too old to be available], aight.

Although, he did create: [image from tvland.classictvhits.com too old to be available]

The first time Chef calls Cartman a dummy and offers him a knuckle samich will be pure gold.

Sounds like South Park's shark is about to be jumped.

2003-03-12 10:13:14 PM
Anyone else see the irony in the fact that Comedy Central played the episode called "Child Abduction Is Not Funny" tonight?
2003-03-12 10:44:25 PM
"This is a show that always has something on its mind - as funny as it is, as outrageous and ridiculous," said Lear, who began watching "South Park" several years ago with his 14-year-old son.

Lear, 80, is best known for the politically charged comedies "All in the Family," "Sanford and Son," "Maude" and "The Jeffersons," which confronted issues such as abortion, racial prejudice, homosexuality and anti-Semitism."

that's just farkin stupid. "hey dad, wanna play catch? I'll go get your walker!" bleah

I actually just got finished watching a few south park ep's on my computer.

I have to say, just wen I thought I couldn't be shocked any more. Just when I thought the pickle incident had ended my shockability. Just when I thought I had seen every shocking thing in the world, I saw the most shocking thing I've ever seen.

I saw the episode entitled "tolerance". Ep. 614.
Mr Garrison puts a gerbil in his assistant's ass. And then the rest of the episode is about the journey of the gerbil to get out of the assistant's ass.

And no matter how bad that sounds, it's worse.

Go download it.

Thank you south park. Thank you so much.

Good 'ole Lemmywinks.

I am very afraid that this is going to suck.

The best South Park episodes are the ones which aren't too preachy.

His "paintings" make me sick and want to kill.

"Ya hear that Arch? Norman Lear is gonna write some South Park episodes!

South Park? Isn't that the new Buick that all those pimps and hoowers drive?"
2003-03-13 03:54:35 AM
Fred: "Elizabeth, I'm comin' baby!"

Cartman: Shut up, intelligent and attractive successful African-Americeeehhh"

Stan: What?!?

Kyle: At least he's not picking on me anymore...

Cartman: Shut up Jew!

Kyle: Dammit!
2003-03-13 03:55:01 AM
edith: archie, how come ya never take me out an' introduce me to your friends?

archie: there are some pots an' pans i'd like to introduce you to in the kitchen, eedit'h.

hahhahahahh...that show was so great...south park can only get better now...
2003-03-13 03:57:53 AM
Yes, nothing tops Lemmiwinks for sheer shock value.
2003-03-13 03:58:22 AM
Awww man there goes the last liberal Bashing, non PC show on TV . It seems to me Trey Parker and Matt Stone are looking to kill South Park and this is the way to do it. Is it jsut me or did all in the family suck
2003-03-13 04:01:19 AM
Lemmiwinks wasn't anywhere near as disturbing as the Boy Band episode.

"I'm gonna fingerbang bang you into my life!" Or something like that.
2003-03-13 04:05:48 AM
"I never said attractive and successful African-Americans was number two...
Your chinks and your Mexicans could be number two.....
Two-A and Two-B..."

I would respond to GEAH but his name says it all.

Stoatbringer - Norman Lear. You know, the guy who did all those paintings and had a plane named after him.
2003-03-13 05:50:15 AM
sounds like the series is about to take a dive

lear is lame
2003-03-13 06:00:05 AM
I wonder what it's like to be 80. I suppose it's kind of nice to be able to impress people with your continence, but I think the credulity people express it's suggested that you're still competent and capable of expressing a relevent opinion takes a lot away from that.
2003-03-13 06:36:01 AM
I suppose now Kyle visits some non-jewish family asking for support only yo be car bombed afterwards.

This should be interesting.
2003-03-13 06:39:21 AM
I think this is great news.... All in the Family was a great show - This can be nothing but good for south park. I think their humour and desire to push the envelope will mesh well.
2003-03-13 07:36:23 AM
He looks like Uncle Juney Soprano.
2003-03-13 08:11:00 AM
Is it jsut me or did all in the family suck

It's just you, jerk.
2003-03-13 08:20:06 AM
It's not often that someone can take a formula that is consistently working, perhaps even getting better, throw another variable in it, and not have it come out sucking.
2003-03-13 08:41:10 AM

Is it jsut me or did all in the family suck

It's just you, jerk."

No, it sucked. We're just not supposed to notice because it's old.
2003-03-13 08:51:49 AM
Benny Hill sucked worse, but it's somehow still watchable
2003-03-13 08:55:48 AM
I'm sure the South Park episode won't be half as funny as his "SUV drivers support terrorists" campaign with Ariana Huffington.
2003-03-13 08:57:54 AM
"You're a worm, Arthur."
2003-03-13 09:12:13 AM
All in the Family sucked.

"Sucked it right out of a hose yep..."
2003-03-13 09:27:28 AM
I don't know if anyone said this already because reading is so damn boring and lame, but prepare yourselves for some humorless, PREACHY South Parks.
2003-03-13 09:40:24 AM
Sandford & Son was actually a remake of the British comedy Steptoe & Son, they both have a similarly addictive theme tune but steptoes was far the superior version. Maybe there are a few available for d\l. Classics, especially the movie.

Scrotar Benny Hill sucked worse, but it's somehow still watchable

Take it back Scrotar or I'm gonna send my grandma over to take it out of your hide. The Benny Hill Show is a classic.
2003-03-13 10:01:39 AM
I'd be paying attention if it was norman MAILER.
2003-03-13 10:12:05 AM
What the hell's with the bizarre Cartman pic, and why is that goddamn clown showing up in all the threads lately?

You people are scaring me. Stop it.
2003-03-13 10:21:27 AM
If only Homestar Runner could get Lear, maybe they wouldn't suck as bad.
2003-03-13 10:46:36 AM
I bet Lear was holding back in the 70's
watch him go!!!!!!
2003-03-13 12:11:32 PM
Sounds like South Park's shark is about to be jumped.

2003-03-13 12:47:43 PM
Scrotar: Benny Hill sucked worse, but it's somehow still watchable

T&A and the old feeb made that show. Oh, and the ol' "Benny's pissing three streams of urine from behind a tree...oh wait he's watering flowers" gag that never got old. Until the second time they did it.
2003-03-13 12:58:43 PM
Because All in the Family is Like most of today's sitcoms CNN and snl which blows I predict that the new South Parks will be about either or all of the current themes Bush Bashing, Republican bashing, anti americanism, and pretty much how PC (liberal) policies are cool.

"Screw you guys I'm watching Adult Swim"
2003-03-13 01:36:37 PM
The funniest south parks are the way too opinionated ones.

Reporter to Bush: Are you high, or just incredibly stupid ?

Bush: I assure you, I am not high

This season was my favorite by far. I have watched every single episode on my computer. Trust me, it will only get better. Starting next wednesday.
2003-03-13 01:45:51 PM
TROGDOR, what does my name say to you in your language?
2003-03-13 01:50:50 PM
Yes, nothing tops Lemmiwinks for sheer shock value.

scott tranerman (baad spelling) must die. The last bit....far more shocking the first time then lemmywinks.

I don't care if this guy is writing more eps. I'm just glad southpark is finally is bad. Why exactly do their seasons only last like 10 episodes?
