The caption should read: Photo taken just moments before little Kit (four) was rammed and critically gored, repeatedly, by the wild boar.

Lawn = forest land?

BOAR + MOAB = Instant BBQ. Save the world, feed the hungry, and recycle lawn clippings at the same time!

So, who did he enlist to clean up the boars' shiat?? I'd rather mow the lawn.
2003-03-12 05:18:45 PM
Eh, i had a girlfriend that had cows do it for her.

They trimmed the law too. *drumhit*

Sir Alistair Cumming...

Yeah, because Boars shiatting and breeding all over your lawn is much more aesthetically pleasing than tall grass.

Wow! You've got rednecks on your side of the pond, too? Cool!

I'd be worried about one of the kids riding the lawn-mowing boar into the pond and drowning.

2003-03-12 06:14:17 PM
Cows work okay. Except for the hoof dents and the fertilizer problem.

Any Farkettes care for a nosey?
2003-03-12 06:57:18 PM

I used to know a guy named Dale who had goats in his yard so he wouldn't have to mow. True story. He lived in a pretty old, kinda low-rent subdivision outside the city limits of the nearby town, so he wasn't violating any city code or anything. It didn't look to me like the goats were doing the job, though. The grass was knee-deep in his yard.

My uncle has a 5 acre yard and he put calves in most of it, and it works pretty good.
2003-03-12 11:39:32 PM
heh heh, he said cumming....
2003-03-13 09:09:57 AM
Hmmm, pig nuts

To prove how tough they were, folks from ancient times would hunt wild boar. Obviously they were bigger and more ferocious then these in the story.

Apparently, some wild boar grow to be quite large and have those nasty tusks. The Greeks added a cross-bar to their hunting spears because sometimes they would stab the boar and it would keep coming at them, even impaling themselves further along the spear shaft.

Quote the boar, "It's a living."

/Once again the most obvious is neglected.
