Ex-cellent.

For your next project, may I suggest a nice remake of "The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald?"

I prefer Kipling...

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "If you don't work you die."

That poem deserves to be posted in its entirety: Link (new window)

One of the more salient blasts-from-the-past about what's going on now.

Vogon poetry is less offensive.

That was beautiful.

I was thinking of going with something a lot less elegant:

"The play is the tragedy 'Glen'
And its hero the Conqueror 'Learn'"

Paula Nancy Millstone Jennings of Greenbridge, Essex is still worse.

when you listen to beck's editorial
there is one thing for which he's reliable
you see, he has the guts
to be completely nuts
it is always full-power wharrgarbl

Considering how Dylan Thomas went out, yeah, this is appropriate.

And Beck gently fondling his yarbles

+1

// heh. yarbles.

The retard is strong with Sir Glenn
He clucks, pecks and struts like a hen.
Says nothing of value,
Listening's bound to
Turn your once-functionin' brain to -10.

There once was a man named Glenn Beck
Whose words made people say "what the heck?"
His show was on Fox
It sucked donkey cocks
It was what we call a train wreck
/got nuthin

I met a traveller from a red state land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a Big Giant Head lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamp'd on these lifeless things,
The hand that mock'd them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Bill O'Reilly, Hero of the Right Wing:
Look on my works, ye Progressives, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

/I know it's not Beck, but still.

Would pay so much money to hear James Earl Jones read this.

He clasps his flag with pudgy hands;
Close to O'Reilly in batshiat lands,
Ring'd with the whargarrbl'd world, he stands.

The wrinkled scrote beneath him crawls;
He watches from his fear chamber walls,
And like a productive fart he falls.

My contribution:

GOP Senator
He wanna fark some vote
Using tactics from Cambodia
And now he's gonna gloat

GOP dollar talk
To the propagandists AM world
In fact its giving orders
And they cant afford to miss a word

Im so bored with the G...O...P...
But what can I do?

GOP operatives
Are always on the TV
cos shillers in America
Work seven days a week

Never mind the stars and stripes
Lets print the waterboard tapes
Ill salute the new wave
And I hope nobody escapes

Im so bored with the G...O...P...
But what can I do?

Move up Panetta
For the C.I.A.
Suck on Fitpatrick
For the GOP

I know! I mean, what has he ever done to deserve all this attention? Other than whoring himself out on radio and TV? And getting all misty-eyed about the good ol' days when terrorists farked our shiat up and people, for once, unquestioningly worshipped the GOP?

Also, anybody have any tips on how to convince my brother-in-law that Glenn Beck is not "just right of the middle?" Or is the poor kid already lost forever?

/He's in the USAF and thinks the military does no wrong
//Was actually reading Glenn Beck's latest book last time he was at my house. I had to bite my tongue.

That this man has developed such a following speaks volumes about our nation. And it's not good.
