Ah, I dunno... I saw it this once, and... that's it. No more.

I'm still sorry I wasted the time watching the movie, and even a little sorry I watched this, although I appreciate that it was a lot less time. heh.

I worked at a movie theater when this came out. By the end of it's run I had seen it a billion times, and I went from sorta liking it to ABSOLUTELY HATING THAT biatch JENNY.

He's got his timeline all screwed up. Didn't Forrest leave the bus stop before he got married to Jen-nay? (and all the other stuff after that?)

I love how they couldn't get a brown person.

Jenny is a coont. If there's one lesson I learned from that movie, it's to avoid women like Jenny. Poor, abused, drugged out, slutty Jenny.

Wait, I mean sleep with girls like jenny, then avoid them after that.

Jenny is in the top 5 of "Worst Female Characters In Movies" for me. Worst doesn't have to mean bad or evil, just awful, terrible role models, no redeeming qualities kind of bad.

Adrian from Rocky is probably my #1. The way they set her up was probably just to make males hate her. Hell, Ivan Drago's wife was a better female character than Adrian. All Adrian did was tear Rocky down piece by piece and try to mold him into what she wanted (insert typical wife comment). Just awful.

I think the movies would have been less interesting without Adrian. Despite all of her attempts, Delilah never did cut Sampson's hair.

See, now that's where I think guys could really take something special away from the Bible. Stories like Samspson and Delilah, Adam and Eve, etc have an important lesson....hang out with the wrong woman and she can ruin your life.

The ending is of him sitting there on the stump after Jr. gets on the bus...

Well, play it backwards and you have Benjamin Button.

I keep hearing that. I've put off watching Benny, but now I don't even know if I should spend the 2-3 hours on it at all.

Duh, It was probably filmed at a college, and everyone knows, there's no black people in college.

Agreed. There isn't even a glimmer of humanity in the character of Jenny. It goes beyond her manipulation of Forrest. I actually hated her.

I was under the impression that they deliberately made Jenny such an unlikeable character to further Forrest's fan appeal. I thought it worked perfectly and added a tone of realism to it.

That's very possible. I think what makes people hate her is that somehow, they make you really want to like her and empathize with her, but she never gives you a reason to.

The young man who created this little skit should prove to be highly competent on either the McDonald's fry station or the Taco Bell cash register.

"Forrest Gump was the anti Christ. Everything good in his life, everything, came as a result of the direct suffering, pain, and tribulation of others. He walked in a seemingly benign cloak through an unaware and unprepared society and spread misery, suffering, and agony in his wake, then sat on a park bench and spouted forth the pithy banalities he'd drawn forth from the blistered backs of the damned. He was, and remains, the face of true evil in the world." -PocketNinja

Best Forrest Gump comment EVAR.

They should have filmed it all from a different angle.

Carrie Ann Moss from Memento (Natalie, I think it was) has to be on the that top 5 list as well. What a manipulative coont Trinity was in that movie.

Jenny always pissed me off, but it was in a pitying sort of way. I would have felt she was taking advantage of a retard if she wasn't so close to being a retard herself.

And it took me a few years before I realized that Jenny was Buttercup from Princess Bride. Then I felt stoopid.
