I went to school there and I'm happy with it. There's some hot little tramps there itching to bare it, and I'm itching to see it.
2001-08-29 10:00:10 AM
Great, no pictures or anything. Super.
2001-08-29 10:00:53 AM
Yeah, the lack of boobie tags lately is rather disturbing.
2001-08-29 10:01:20 AM
Was anybody else getting a little daffy reading this?

"Tiffany is pictured with a lacy top, sort of, that has been pulled up to expose her breasts while she clutches a bed curtain with one hand and spreads the other daintily over her nether region..."

Pics please...I like ogling solely for ogling's sake.
2001-08-29 10:01:52 AM
Sounds like someone's a little jealous... judging by her picture, it's obvious why.

Don't get me wrong - being judged by the content of one's character is all well and good... Dr. King was a very smart man. But there ain't a damned thing wrong with being attractive and willing to share one's "gifts" with the world.

One last note for the columnist. You can try all you want to teach your kids that there's something wrong with "ogling fo ogling's sake" - but it won't stop 'em. Trust me.
2001-08-29 10:07:04 AM
I like looking at naked women.
2001-08-29 10:21:21 AM
I like her aguement about Playboy making it hard to parent. If you are that disturbed by what another woman, who you will never meet, does, then you may have some self image issues. If your children are bothered by it, it will be due to your issues. Kids see women (and men) used as objects every day. If you do your job right, kids will realize that an image is just that, an image.

SEC always has the nicest looking women. Why do prudes think women who pose nude are exploited? If they're over 18, there's no problem. More power to the women.
2001-08-29 10:28:07 AM
"nether region" WTF?
2001-08-29 10:30:10 AM
huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu... NETHER REGIONS!
2001-08-29 10:37:47 AM
farking Rabid Moralists...

2001-08-29 10:38:31 AM
Isn't Amsterdam in the Netherregions? Or am I thinking of Denmark?
2001-08-29 10:43:13 AM
Agreed on the pic. of the author. Eeesh, that certainly is NOT what I was wanting to see when clicking on that link.
2001-08-29 10:54:09 AM
I am taking the bait:
It's the Netherlands. However, plenty of nether regions here..
2001-08-29 10:57:04 AM
typical rant form a columnist that couldn't get into Playboy if SHE paid THEM. - well said, BigPhilly :)

WTF is the big deal? did she ever stop to think that the girls who pose are exhibitionists? that maybe it's a turn on to know they've got thousands of guys (and a fair share of ladies) OGLING their bodies? sex os power, pure and simple. and the girls of the SEC are indeed some of the most powerful in the country.

the great thing about freedom is you even the ones who would deny freedom to others are still allowed their say. not being sarcastic, it really is a great thing.
2001-08-29 11:01:46 AM
And besides it's not like Playboy is the sole source for promoting the import of being a woman and being attractive. Surely the rest of society should take some of the blame as well.
2001-08-29 11:03:46 AM
Yes Drew, but lets just ignore reality for now.
2001-08-29 11:24:37 AM
Never let reality (or the facts) get in the way of a good rant
2001-08-29 11:47:22 AM
U of K? That made me laugh almost as much as Columbine. Thank you whoever set that header
2001-08-29 12:10:54 PM
You all think she would have to pay Playboy to be in an issue? I think Playboy paid her to do the editorial. She turned me on with her talk of the Netherlands! I wasn't going to buy the issue; I will now!!!
2001-08-29 12:15:43 PM
This whole story is moot without pictures of the sweet young boobies
2001-08-29 12:22:47 PM
Girls of the SEC are visiting a southern town near you. details (not safe for work)
2001-08-29 12:26:01 PM
Hey cool, the UK ones will be signing copies of Playboy *tomorrow*. That address looks like it's probably at Deja Vu's...
2001-08-29 12:28:13 PM
SEC = "Securities and Exchange Commission"????

Female stock brokers posing for Playboy?????
2001-08-29 12:39:10 PM
South East Conference
if this playboy shoot is as bad as the on they did on my school, the girls of C-USA, then the issue probably isnt worth buying. Then again the girls that go to my school are butt ugly
2001-08-29 12:40:21 PM
Thanks for the link Jh0. This woman also has a pet snake. Nice
2001-08-29 01:08:42 PM
I bear no ill will toward these women, but their participation in exploitation for a moment's fame makes my job as a parent more difficult.

I don't think I've read anything so idiotic since Justin Timerlake's Nirvana comments. Ok, *maybe* it makes it difficult to get your teenage son out of the bathroom to do chores or something, but other than that it's non sequitur. If what you're teaching your kids about sexuality and such is easily thrown off by rather tame nudity, you're doing a crappy job as a parent. At the very least, maybe you should consider not leaving porno lying around the house.
2001-08-29 01:16:42 PM
This just in, "No one is happy with what anyone else does, regardless of whether it affects them or not."
2001-08-29 01:29:12 PM
This must be the Porn Czar's sister or something.
2001-08-29 01:37:33 PM
Georgia wins? Thank God for this because we sure can't win football games against Florida.
2001-08-29 01:37:59 PM
Nudity and sex are natural things, we are all born naked..... But the bible teaches us that sex and nudity is wrong (maybe because of some realy ugly insecure people in the church no doubt).

So anyone that thinks they might have found religion will always scream for God to strike us all down when they see a little skin, but it's quite alright for us to see blood, gore guts, and vomit on the TV. as long as it's just people being terribly murdered and not having sex... it's all good to the fundies.
2001-08-29 01:42:23 PM
I enjoy exploitation of women
2001-08-29 02:18:45 PM
Soupgoblin"Nudity and sex are natural things, we are all born naked"

Really can't agree with that arguement. Are you for sex with a newborn?!
2001-08-29 02:25:35 PM
Her arguments are so lame that you can tell she just hates the idea of beautiful women posing nude, and is trying to come up with intelligent-sounding justifications for that feeling.

You tell your kids that women are not bodies for rent, not a collection of body parts.

Who said these women were just bodies for rent? And why does the fact that they're nude make any difference? People who model clothes for department store ads are just bodies for rent, aren't they? At least with these girls we know that they enjoy tennis and sandy beaches, etc. If you hire some guy to mow your lawn, you don't necessarily care about the content of his character. Does that make him a body for rent?

Because when you make your mark in life, ladies, you don't want it to be for something as ephemeral as your dangling breasts. Turns out there really is something to Martin Luther King Jr.'s remark about being known for ``the content of your character''

Well they're college students, so it's a bit early for them to be making their mark. This is just a fun thing to do, and they get money and exposure from it which perhaps they can use to do something a little more significant. Too bad there's no "Character Magazine" where they can get the same kind of national exposure for being incredibly compassionate or brave or whatever.

"Tiffany is pictured with a lacy top, sort of, that has been pulled up to expose her breasts while she clutches a bed curtain with one hand and spreads the other daintily over her nether region."

That was a nice paragraph. That biatch is working for the wrong publication, she should be writing captions for a porn magazine.

And while it's fine -- indeed, admirable -- to appreciate women's beauty, there's a line between beauty and ogling solely for ogling's sake.

No there's not. I can appreciate a woman's beauty while I ogle her. Sheesh.
2001-08-29 04:34:30 PM
I agree with Batmn, must have more boobies!!!!
2001-08-29 05:32:22 PM
Jeeeeezz... this chick doesn't know very much about men, does she?
2001-08-29 06:05:06 PM
Isn't life about exploitation? If you're good with mathematics, scientific industries exploit you for you skills. I guess I don't understand how that's different from physical exploitation.
2001-08-29 06:31:58 PM
I totally agree that this woman is jealous...posing in Playboy is something that alot of woman would like to do, given the opportunity (as long as that is not your ONLY aspiration in life)They get made up to look beautiful, have professional photographers take pictures of them while only the most flattering pictures are submitted AND they get paid! All for showing boobies! I used to think Playboy was like, this "bad" thing that exploited women...that was before I grew up. Atleast Playboy attempts to keep things somewhat (for lack of a better word) classy. Sure, they're going to be "ogled purely for the sake of ogling" but that's what Playboy is about. Has this journalist forgotten that fact? Has she never looked at a Playgirl or a naked man purely for the sake of ogling?? No one poses in Playboy to expose their character! The human body is a beautiful thing (well...I suppose in some cases it's probably not)and if you're comfortable with letting millions see you naked, more power to you.
2001-08-29 07:00:16 PM
The last line sounds like she want us to look into the shape of a woman's naked butt - did anyone else come to that conclusion?
2001-08-29 09:46:29 PM
"Really can't agree with that arguement. Are you for sex with a newborn?!"

Only if the newborn has boobies and can legally drink alcohol.
2001-08-30 08:18:15 AM
Soup - where is the Bible does it say nudity and sex are wrong? If I remember correctly there was a heck of alot of begatting going on...
