Pocket Ninja: Awesome. Now I know how I want to spend my weekends.

Hey, Drew, you should start issuing official UltraFark costumes modeled after each user's screen name. We could post them in our profiles and then at the Fark convention we can all show up in likenesses of them and it would be really cool.

or not

Smeggy Smurf: Angle Grinder Man would be impressed but he's off actually fighting crime and not being a poser

Am I the only one that thinks that guy looks like Ozzy Osborne in a mask?

Artemis of San Diego reported on his blog that he had heard a woman screaming outside his home but by the time he had dressed up in his costume the police were already there.

OK, dumbass... I know you really want to put that suit to use, but there comes a time for practicality.

If I had been informed of this plan earlier, I would have chosen a different screen name.

How do you think I'll feel? I'll just be a damn T-Shirt! An awesome one, however.

I'm going for the name "Haostage Man" in whatever Legion of Heroes that will take me.

Through my job I often see some spectacular names.

hyperspacemonkey: I went to the world superhero registry, and the Black Monday Society really stands out. They seem like a bunch of Juggalos for Justice. I think they listened to the Spawn soundtrack and The Great Milenko a few too many times and then decided to live the dream.

Here's a video on those guys. (new window)

As much as they sort of strike me as Slipknot on patrol, I can't help but think that what they're doing and how they've chosen to do it is actually really cool. I feel like if *I* was in the middle of doing something naughty and some dudes who looked like that ran up on me, I'd poop a little. More power to 'em, I say.

Isn't this a repeat?

And Rolling Stone did an article on these asshats recently. A day will come when their home made body armor is tested by something besides fantasy and one ends up dead. Then the others will have to solve his murder. Wait, this sounds like a great graphic novel...

One of them will get shot pretty soon. Then their already-festering doubts will be clarified. But they'll still wear their frikkin' outfits to the funeral.

Did anyone else notice the submission guidelines at the World Superhero Registry?

It is recommended that Anyone wishing to register their persona with the World Superhero Registry submit their application in the following manner.
♦ Submit your data on a CD, floppy disk or thumb drive mailed to the address provided.
♦ Buy the storage medium you use with cash, preferably during a sale.
♦ Never touch the storage medium unless you are wearing thick gloves.
♦ Do not allow any dust particles, stray hairs, or other debris to come in contact with the storage medium.
♦ In order to ship your submission to us, use brand new envelopes purchased with cash. Do not touch the envelopes at any time unless you are wearing thick gloves. Do not allow stray hairs or other debris to adhere to the adhesive flap, or be trapped inside the envelope. Do not use stamps that have to be licked. Do not use envelopes that have to be licked. Do not touch the stamps unless wearing thick gloves. Do not allow hair or debris to be trapped between the stamp and the envelope.
♦ When addressing the envelope, do not write the address by hand. Do not include a return address.
♦ Deposit your application in a mailbox as far from your potential area of operation as is possible.

All submissions will be screened for potential booby traps such as contact poison and letter bombs. Data will be screened for viruses by an isolated computer.

Actively submitting profiles on the internet is not really the best way to preserve a secret identity, to be sure.

/Still deluding myself that Hollywood might do the Watchmen right.

I see potential problems with mine. Looking like Infected-farking-Kerrigan is something best left to the villain crowd, and frankly, I don't get PMS for long enough to be worth it.

That said, if anyone is in need of a female Q, public-relations expert or Edna Mode-style costume developer, my email is in profile.
