Can't we all be Superbowl Champion? I mean why does it have to be a competition. This over-competitiveness is detrimental to the childrens fragile psyche.
2003-01-15 08:51:46 AM
That's really not fair.

All four teams are doing the same!

*respect for SbB goes down yet another notch, if that's possible*
2003-01-15 08:58:13 AM
...well OK, so he says Oakland's doing it too. Still, why not just point out that they're all doing it. Besides, this is not unusual at all in the souvenir biz.
2003-01-15 09:23:25 AM
This Eagles fan is eagerly anticipating the coming bash with the NFL's best defense. I love the Eagles, but lawd lawd Tampa Bay will be tough to beat. I'll pick the Eagles in a thriller, 13-10.
2003-01-15 09:43:11 AM
Go Titans!
2003-01-15 11:13:53 AM
Which is funny because everybody knows that Oakland is going to win the Superbowl.
2003-01-15 11:13:55 AM
Bucs are going to open a can of whup azz on those fags from Philly!
2003-01-15 11:13:56 AM
Go Cowboys!!!!

2003-01-15 11:15:49 AM
Go Stars!
2003-01-15 11:16:51 AM
Go Lions? AH HELL. Well, at least Super Bowl XL is held in Ford Field....if they can't make it there with their teams, at least the fans can see it. Sigh. Also, NEW UNIFORMS IN '04-'05, yay. It's aboot time the Gay Blue goes bye bye.
2003-01-15 11:16:52 AM
Holy crap! It's going to be 28 degrees up there when we play the Eagles. Good luck boys.

2003-01-15 11:16:57 AM
This isn't the teams doing this.
2003-01-15 11:17:07 AM
Man it's tough to root for these teams. How do you justify rooting for Sapp, or even worse, Bill Romanowski?

McNabb is cool and Andy Reid is fat. I guess I'm rooting for the Eagles.
2003-01-15 11:17:14 AM
All this fuss over some stupid baseball game
2003-01-15 11:17:34 AM
Go Saints!!!
2003-01-15 11:17:42 AM
Warren Sapp is going to literally kill and eat one of the Eagles, live on television!

The guy is a farking savage, if he flips out he's likely a decapitate the entire opposing team!
2003-01-15 11:17:47 AM
What is this `foot-ball' game you Americans speak of? Does it involve a small hard rudder disc, wooden sticks or ice? No! (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)
2003-01-15 11:17:58 AM
2003-01-15 11:18:05 AM
"Bucs are going to open a can of whup azz on those fags from Philly!"

yeah... philly fans are rude and obnoxious... i forgot no one else is. oh wait..

Alright, alright...I'll stop.
2003-01-15 11:18:44 AM
Bucs are gonna take this game and shut down McNabb.

Bucs- 17
2003-01-15 11:20:11 AM
Gator8387 -
Did Tampa Bay even beat philadelphia this season??
No - They haven't.
Did Tampa Bay even score a touchdown against us..
um.. no

The Tampa offense bores me.

Bring on the Raiders -- that's a quality team.
2003-01-15 11:20:36 AM
I'm gonna win the superbowl.
2003-01-15 11:20:48 AM
Warren Sapp was biatchslapped by the Steelers twice, and they didn't even make it this far in the playoffs.

Besides, who really wants to be at the Vet knowing it is the last game being played there, and for the NFC title... I'll be surprised if snowballs are the only thing being thrown and not steats, sections of railing, etc.

Eagles - Raiders... the two teams with the most ruthless fans. scary.
2003-01-15 11:20:51 AM
FOrget gambling on the game- what's the over-under on posts it takes before someone takes smegma's bait and tell him it's football?
2003-01-15 11:20:51 AM
I was surprised to read about sales of champion shirts until I saw the fine print: "If your team does not win your order will be automatically canceled."
2003-01-15 11:20:54 AM
sbB has got to be one of the biggest pieces of shiznit on fark. Is it THAT hard to find sponsors?
2003-01-15 11:20:57 AM
DslainteC Classic. I was thinking the same thing.
2003-01-15 11:21:18 AM
It's OK for the raiders to be doing this but the bucs???
Actually if you team doesn't win the ancel your order. Read the fine print next time..

2003-01-15 11:21:32 AM
The Titans shirt is the one to buy. Count on it. They're just too solid a team...just as good as the Titan's team that almost beat the Rams in the SB a few years back, and none of the other teams left are anywhere near as good as that Rams squad was.
2003-01-15 11:21:34 AM
Go nads!
Go nads!
2003-01-15 11:21:39 AM
Eagles are gonna get a cheesesteak sandwich shoved straight up their asses by the Mighty Bucs Defense!
2003-01-15 11:22:01 AM
Thats funny, I'm selling Official 'Chicago Bears Super Bowl stuff'

/glue stupor
2003-01-15 11:22:17 AM

/btw, does anyone know how to do that people search on google where you get someones personal info? i need to know like right now b/c im trying to blackmail a coworker. if one of you could tell me...
2003-01-15 11:22:18 AM
I think that "quizzical dog" schtick took all of about 6 hours to become old and busted.
2003-01-15 11:22:21 AM
I'm waiting for the Warren Sapp line of Tampa beach caftans...
2003-01-15 11:22:29 AM
Can anyone tell me why in Fark's name they scheduled the games at 3 and 6 pm (East coast) respectively?

I want my 1:00 game! It works perfectly with my inside-tailgate parties!
2003-01-15 11:22:33 AM
okay, which admin is smoking rock today. not only does the article mention other teams are doing it, but the link is to one website where you can place an order for super bowl champion merchandise for all four remaining teams. on that page is the disclaimer: "If your team does not win your order will be automatically canceled."

this is getting rediculous.

A great part of the Patriots victory last year was reading the stories about the overconfident Rams having to destroy all their Superbowl champion merchandise.
2003-01-15 11:23:09 AM
Go Broncos!

::Why are all those crickets chirping?::

As for this year, Go Titans, Go Bucs, Go Eagles, Go anyone but the Raiders.
2003-01-15 11:23:11 AM
I hope that prick Warren Sapp gets his knee/leg/neck/head dislocated. I'm not a fan of the Packers, I actually dislike them because I root for the Pats, but the hit he laid on that G-Bay guy was legal, but cheap. Why potentially ruin a guy's career, thus his ability to provide for his family? It was a cheap shot, lebal albeit, but cheap. He will get what he deserves. If not this playoff year but for sure when the Bucks play Green Bay next year. They'll be hunting for him.
2003-01-15 11:24:02 AM
What even more surprising is the merchandise being sold on the Bengal's website:

"Cincinnatti Bengals 2003 Super Bowl Champions ...NOT !"

2003-01-15 11:24:16 AM
i say we let the steeler's in just so we can have Tommy Maddox become the one and only XFL and NFL mvp.
2003-01-15 11:24:34 AM
I usually hate Phili teams (Worst. Fans. EVER...McNabb should leave you guys for being booed when he was drafted. And the stadium sucks too), but since I don't care for any teams in the playoffs, I'll root for them.

PS- I wish Sapp would get hit by a truck. Stupid fat-ass, drug-using, angry, worthless, overrated piece of crap.
2003-01-15 11:24:42 AM
I remember the St Louis paper had an ad for the Rams/Jaguars Super Bowl jacket a few years back. Needless to say, after the AFC Championship, the ad was changed.
2003-01-15 11:24:49 AM
Headline = Misleading

As an avid Buccaneers fan from the midwest...go figure...I must say that I feel Sunday's game in Philly should be a good one, but I see the Eagles prevailing for one reason.

Forcast for the game is 28 degrees with a 60% chance of snow/flurries. Sure the Bucs won for the first time in sub 40 degree weather in Champaign the last week of the season, but the gametime temp was closer to 38 than 28 with snow.

However, I would like nothing more than to see the Bucs beat the crap out of the Eagles in a defensive showdown. Ronde Barber is that shiat! Props to Tiki too, it's just tragic he's on another team.

Here's an idea, confuse the crap out of the Eagles by wearing some throwback uniforms for the game. That bright orange and flaming Bucco Bruce would disturb anyone.

Go Bucs!
2003-01-15 11:24:56 AM
Warren Sapp is a farking savage, a neanderthal, he eats raw meat and drinks blood.

2003-01-15 11:26:13 AM
They print that stuff up in advance, and if the team loses, they ship the shirts off to other countries, some end up going to relief efforts. A friend of mine was in the Peace Corps and went into a village in east Africa, and all the kids came running out with t-shirts bearing "Buffalo Bills Super Bowl Champs." She thought it was pretty damned funny. Just so you know what ends up of that stuff.
2003-01-15 11:26:57 AM
Ack!!! Too early to do proper HTML code!!!

Omar_Sharif...cruel, cruel, cruel.

Go Team!!! Soccer sucks!!! low...snack time.
