Well here is one up side of electing Obama. Yeah yeah I know he doesn't really run Iran but it's still nice to be loved by Iran......

I'm sure we can get a big-o helping of Middle East Peace now.

This is the same jackass who 6 months ago said America would never elect a woman or a black man as President, and now he's kissing ass. He can most certainly go DIAF now.

This just gives more ammo to those racists who kept calling Obama a terrorist.

"See! He's buddy buddy with a terrorist!"

/My mom is going to be insufferable now.

At least they both agree on that No Gay Marriage thing.

Also didn't his buddy get ousted by the Shah's for counterfeiting a college diploma. Even the council of angry Turbans hold education higher than Sarah Palin.

how's that $60/barrel oil working out for you? Now you want to play nice? hehe you just keep thinking that princess.

It's okay, Iran: Our last president was a dildo, too.

Quite frankly that wasn't a very far-out statement. I live in Dawsonville GA, and if these folks had their way...well...it would be King Bush.

I think many people are shocked that he actually won...I'm still pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming.

See what happens when you elect Obama?! You get our enemies willing to talk to us! For shame!

2008-11-06 3:00:32 PM
A powerful and oil-rich middle eastern nation, barely able to contain an internal flood of widespread Democracy, which has been openly hostile to the US and Israel for as long as any of us can remember, is now showing some measure of deference.

Aaaaaand let me guess. This is a bad thing, right?

2008-11-06 3:00:36 PM
fark you Iran, we didn't do it for you.

2008-11-06 3:00:39 PM
Wow, you mean politicians outside the U.S. also say things that serve their own self-interest? How would have guessed.

Wasn't oil $60 in like, 2005/2006?

This is hardly a historic low.

Well to be fair what does he know about democracy? He's from a country where the people get to rubber-stamp whichever figurehead the mullahs picked out.

When it comes to Ahmadinejad, people are skeptical.

This is disastrous. There is a dude I hate who is able-bodied and of prime draft age and he will not leave me alone. If Iran starts talking to us and getting ideas about reconciliation how can I ensure he gets sent abroad and killed by terrorists? Pls hlp.

Say what you will about Ahmadinejad, he is responsible for one of the best "Sort Of Want" photos ever!

2008-11-06 3:03:48 PM
As much as I disagree with Obama on domestic policy, he certainly was right on Iran and other foreign policy.

Iran is not an imminent threat to America. Unless Iran launches missiles onto the lower 48 states, Hawaii, or Alaska (no, Israel does not count as a U.S. territory), we should not be concerned with Iran.

Good thing this came out because I was dying to know what Iran thought about all this. When do we get normal fark back? I really want to buy a NObama sticker now because I am already sick of hearing about this.

John McCain sang songs about bombing Iran. Ahmadinejad is the President of Iran. You figure out the rest.

You fail at knowing stuff.

Iran needs oil to be over $74 per barrel in order to fund its nukular program. Notice how their venomous rhetoric began when oil started going up, and has toned down a LOT since it started coming back down. Oil being at $60 per barrel is a cawk in the arse to Iran.

Which makes me smile.

VlagimarPutin: When it comes to Ahmadinejad, people are skeptical.

All he did was say "Congratulations", not send a singing telegram man carrying a giant box (Just over the size of an ICBM and wrapped with a bow), to Obama's doorstep.

Iran's current economy is only sustainable if oil stays around $100/barrel. Saudi can live on $50/barrel that's why Saudis don't like it when OPEC freaks out and pisses off the world.

maybe even put him in his top 8

It's a shame that the Bits and the US messed with Iran/Persia.
Most of the people I've met from there want the same things we do.
Now that the crazies have taken over all we can do is wait for the end.

2008-11-06 3:08:03 PM
It must be remembered that I'madinnerjacket is up for re-election in his own home country, and it is expected to be a close race. All political moves from him in the next few months need to be viewed through that lens.
Not saying ignored, just saying he has his own campaign to run.

Gotta give piece a chance. if it doesn't work, we're no worse off than we are now.

2008-11-06 3:09:45 PM
So let me see if I've got this straight:

1. Ahmadinejad is nothing but a figurehead; he has no power whatsoever.

2. Therefore, it is critically important to our foreign policy for Obama to sit down and talk with him.

That about right?

2008-11-06 3:10:11 PM
I don't like Iran's policies, but threatening to blow each other up wasn't doing anyone any good.

2008-11-06 3:10:13 PM
That's nice...

2008-11-06 3:10:14 PM

And you think people shouldn't be skeptical, Ahmacrazyashell is playing politics.

Iran needs oil to be over $74 per barrel in order to fund its nukular program.

Somewhere I have a copy of last week's Economist. I think it's $74 for Iran to break even on all its spending, if I remember the article correctly.

2008-11-06 3:11:43 PM
The only reason he's not calling Obama names is because Barack didn't butcher his name the way John McCain did.

Ahamakacdenejad. Amadjeamindad.. Ackakmahenjihad...

2008-11-06 3:11:49 PM
Wait, I thought we were in the middle east to steal the oil? Yet until a month ago, we were paying RECORD prices for oil on the world market and near record prices for gasoline in the US?

Seriously. Does anybody believe anything President Imanutjob says anyway?
