Had a similar lecture in an intro to philosophy course. I still can't explain what proper condom use has to do with philosophy, but I do know how to use a condom. So I've got that going for me.

I agree. Kids ought to remain ignorant and fearful of sex! They need to be taught that condoms are the tools of the devil and that a giant stork brings babies and drops them down the fire place like Santa Claus. That's real 'murikan sex-ed!

I have a relative working as a nurse in both a middle and highschool and from whom I occasionally hear stories (none involving names, of course). Recently, a girl approached her and expressed deep concern over becoming pregnant... after holding hands with her boyfriend. Others simply think it's physically impossible so long as they're minors.

This is what happens when fundies influence the school systems and prevent basic sex ed.
