You have to understand, we are not used to winning, and seeing as this is looking more and more like a possible landslide victory for Obama, it has us a bit off-kilter.

I like the phrase "batsh*t crazy." It makes me laugh.

It's a wonderful adjective.

Bob is crazy?
-Yup.
How crazy?
-Batsh*t.
Damn.

If it were hyphenated, it would be completely different. People would spend hours trying to understand the correlation between the feces of a flying mammal and insanity. Does guano make one crazy? Why!? Or perhaps the guano is crazy itself; some sort of barely sentient sh*t monster. All the other sh*t in the world- horse sh*t, chicken sh*t, dog sh*t- has different characteristics. Horsesh*t is a liar. Chickensh*t is a coward. Dogsh*t is terrible. But batsh*t?

It's just goddamn crazy.

The only things about this election that are batshiat crazy are

1) the belief that a senator who has voted 95% in agreement with an incumbent who has less than a 30% approval rating is somehow commited to change against that incumbent

and

2) voting for a vice President who can't name one supreme court case or any newspaper other than "Roe vs Wade" and "Moose Stripping Monthly" respectively

Anyone trying to make an excuse for voting for the McCain ticket are by definition batshiat crazy.

At night, I'm afraid to go to sleep because I know that Sarah Palin is waiting for me in Dreamland, like Freddy Krueger but dumber and more evil.

I had a dream about a week ago that I (apparently) was a personal friend of McCain's, and I was trying to convince him to dump Palin for Tom Ridge.

This shiat is invading my dreams!!!

Columnist doesn't realize that the McCain-Palin secret administration/shadow government is already in place thanks to the expanded Vice Presidential powers now being wielded by Dick Cheney.

Even if Obama appears to win, he will be a mere figurehead President.

What? Only if you think his Vice President is Dick Cheney in a Joe Biden suit.

The #2 issue seems to be continually misdiagnosed. She was asked specifically what Supreme Court decisions she disagreed with, not which she was aware of.

The issue with her lack of answer remains her inability to think on her feet. She spoke out a whole 3 months ago on Alaskan television in regards to a Supreme Court decision she disagreed with, but couldn't think of it when asked by Couric.

Her lack of answer remains a reason not to support her, but most people are even getting that incorrect.

Hell not just McCain, but this whole financial mess and government growing more abusive by the day.

I think if there is ANYTHING positive to come out of the "Bush Legacy" its the lesson that big government really can't be trusted.

I feel like I'm at a Bruins game. It's 5 minutes into the 3rd period, we're up by 2 goals, and I'm wracking my brain over how they're going to screw it up THIS time.

McCain has been cheating on his wives for 36 years. There is strong evidence of domestic violence.

McCain-Keating 5, it's all a matter of public record

McCain graduated at the bottom of his class of 800

There is NOT a single positive story about the character. (Refusing to leave POW camp early doesn't count, no one ever left early)

There are 100's of stories of McCain's anger, arrogance, frat boy mentality.

It's the Bruins. They screw it up by continuously trying to get by with flash in the pan or over the hill goalies.

Have fun with your Thomas/Fernandez double bill.

Just out of sheer curiosity, can you provide a link to any of this strong evidence for domestic violence? Or is this like the strong evidence of Trig being Bristol's son?

I don't like McCain, but if you're going to make a "beating your wife" accusation, you better have something to back it up.

Ok, let me be fair here. I'm a Providence Bruins fan. I think the big team is run by a bunch of knuckleheads. Tim was a superb AHL goalie. He's a great guy, but he just doesn't have what it takes to be up in the NHL.

Aside from the point you raise here, I would also note that the phrase "liberal left" is redundant - there is no "conservative left" or "liberal right." Repeating what the speaker presumes to be a slur does not make it twice as scary.

I should note at this time that I'm a Leafs fan, so I feel your pain. It honestly feels like the Bruins and Leafs have been locked into a 30 year duel to prove who can do the worst job of running a team.

The Blackhawks could also make an appearance in this duel, but I think they were relegated to a lower league for a couple of years.

After 8 years of having dickheads lie to me in my face and watching other supposedly intelligent people believe it all I'd say a little craziness is understandable.

You have to understand, we just KNEW that you "conservatives" would see the light when the WMDs weren't found. Then, we KNEW that you'd finally get it when we weren't greeted as liberators...then, we KNEW that you'd come around when the VP's chief of staff got convicted for lying to cover up for the lies of his boss...then, we KNEW you'd get it once Bush/Cheney's cronies began getting no-bid contracts to blow up, repair, and secure Iraq...then, we KNEW you'd pull your heads out of the sand when Colin farking Powell TOTALLY disassociated himself with the administration...then, we KNEW you'd had enough when we found out that the President had lied to us all about whether the US tortures prisoners...

But, you never did. Wait, remind me whose crazy again?

Just expanding on the accusation that Obama will primarily be a figurehead. The real power rests within the presidency and his cabal of advisors; very little depends on the guy himself wearing the suit.

Well, you have to understand that compared to Hannity's lovefest, it was a brutally vicious interview. I mean, after such hard-hitting questions as "How much do you love America? It's a lot, right?", a question about being able to read would be a shock to the system.
