The expectations have been lowered to the point that she'll come off fine. I mean, she's going to be terrible, but as long as she doesn't wet herself and refer to McCain and Bush they'll say she did just fine.

Please, please don't shoot Bush. Assassinated presidents get bonus points and hero speeches. I don't want to live in an america where anyone over 49 IQ thinks Bush is a hero. If you feel you must express your rage in the form of physical violence against our president please limit yourself to kicking him in the balls, over and over and over, until that stupid farking smirk is permanently removed from his smug, retarded face.

MindfulModeration: An alt?

Laugh at me, please.

I have had a bad day at work, and being ridiculed by someone who I do not know and will never meet will make my evening and life complete! I hope I get to go out to my car and find it to have a flat tire! And I hope when I get home that my cranky fark of a neighbor comes down to my apartment again and yells at me for slamming the door when it was the 1st floor neighbors slamming their door. Goddamn that was a blast last eveing, getting a piece of artwork thrust into my face and him going pre-postal and yelling at me after another shiatty day at my job! Please, don't disappoint me, I live for ridicule and hatred from those around me!!

MindfulModeration: Tacoby Bellisbury: Weaver95: Got me. I have no idea what the hell he's blathering on about.

I said Weaver, not Weaver95. Funny you would be so narccicistic that you ASSUME Im talking about you. Actually, Im not suprised. Typical liberal indignation

I'm at my college's library now. Give me a title or something to work with, and I'll find your dissertations.

I'm glad I'm not alone on those. It's definitely a weird thing to read if you're more familiar with the Cryptonomicon style of writing Stephenson usually does, but his co-author does a good job of cutting that apart and turning it into a tightly plotted thriller with little fluff.

Mongo cut wood: //Democrats are afraid of Palin cause they want to protect their corrupt ways.

Because their corruption is so much different from Republican corruption. Because the VP has so much power to root out and put an end to corruption. Because WARHGARBL.

before I put you on ignore, I want you to know I know you're an alt. Nice try, but you're too dumb.

I get the last word. IGNORE.

An alt? Who's alt? What are you basing this on? God damn, the stupid is strong here.

I tell you what. You might not hear this but I'll tell everyone else for you:

Tacoby Bellisbury is an ignoramus. He seems to enjoy the ignore function. Shall we all indulge him?

I think both of you are the same person.

whidbey: hubiestubert: Even Dan Quayle had more national experience under his belt than Palin.

He did? Like what?

I mean, not to take away from the gaffish similarities, but how was he anywhere near a better choice?

He was a Senator--he was on the national stage as a two term Representative, and then as a Senator--as the youngest Senator elected at the time. He, by that time, had a few committees under his belt, and definitely some legislation with his name on.

I'm all worked up about that.

I don't know if you're like, bored or just some geezer with a computer and it's a language barrier, I can't say I have a beef with you, but wading through your posts is like stepping around doghsit to get to your door.

Sorry, there's enough useless wittering here. Bye, pops.

tomp: Wow so much hate for Sarah. FWIW: I voted for her when she ran for Governor and I will be voting for her to be out VP.

So? I'm not voting for a VP, I'm voting for a President with luggage. The VP is there to take the President's spot if, for what ever reason, the President cannot do their duties.

With that being said, after the interviews with Hannity and Couric, Palin is proving to be a horrible choice. She cannot answer simple questions, she cannot even produce simple platform talking points.

If McCain is unable to fulfill his Presidential duties, would you want this woman running the most powerful country in the world?*

* Yes, I know we're sinking fast and it's going to get faster if "we" approve this moronic bail out.

Im a staunch Democrat, but Ive come around to believe that that is a Kevlar vest.

It makes sense the President would always be wearing a vest whenever he travels outside the white house, and it makes sense we, the public, wouldnt be told about this.

I have never thought about that, actually. Up until now, I have been pretty convinced that he was wearing an earpiece up until now, but you make a damn good point. And I say this as someone who used to wear a vest on a daily basis. It can put weird lines in your clothes, though ours were the cheap, basic version. Not like the "Dragon Skin" stuff the President is likely to wear.

Good call, man. Seriously, no sarcasm. You actually make a damn good point here.

I live in South Dakota, which is a very conservative and very anti-abortion state. Two years ago, the Palin position on abortion (no exceptions, even for incest and rape) was put forward as an initiative on the general election ballot. It was defeated -- soundly. The far right needs to start re-evaluating its positions when they are too extreme for farking South Dakota.
