THIS CONVERSATION IS HAPPENING ALL OVER THE US TONIGHT IN EVERY MARY KAY CLASS, SORORITY HOUSE AND CURVES WEIGHT LOSS CENTER:

OMG, like, what is she gonna wear tonight? Do you, like, think that she, like, is gonna wear red, cuz, you know, it's all powerful and stuff.

Or, maybe she'll wear, like, blue, cuz it goes with her eyes and makes them all like pretty and "aaaa" sparkly like.

I totally hope it's a skirt, cuz, like, she would be so girly to wear that. And she could totally get some girl power from the skirt. God I hope she totally shaves her legs, though. And she better have cute heels on, too. Cuz flats and the skirt are like not "girly" enough, you know?

But if she wore, you know, pants..then she would be more dude-ish and could totally kick that biden guy's butt cuz she would be in pants.

I just hope they don't, like, bore me with stupid questions, like about foreign places and stuff. I mean, like who cares what happened in Georgia? I totally hate their football cheerleaders, and they totally denied me to go to college there.

And all this bailout talk. Duh, ask Dad for it! He covers my bills when I spent all weekend drinking, but needed to buy something totally cute for the part at the Kappa's place and it so maxed my Visa. I had to call dad and ask for some money. Of course I told him I was buying books with it...

Anyways, I think we're gonna do a drinking game tonight, like, every time she smiles, we do a shot of Jaeger!!

I'm not sure a wireless receiver can help anymore than notes with Katie Couric helped.

But look for Palin to rattle off some talking points about Biden with noob like abandon. The funny thing is that the bar for Palin is so low, if she does anything but be absolutely dreadful it will be applauded as an achievement.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but even the left leaning media can't make up enough lies against her and McCain to make the people vote socialist.
The only way the left can win is to convense people they are what they are not.

Anyone here with a brain (and judging from some of the asinine remarks made in here, there can't be too many of you) should remember that back in 2000, the media and their Democrat friends had us believing that GW was going to be destroyed by Al Gore in the first televised debate...massacred, discredited, laughed out of the debate hall. And what happened? It wasn't even close. GW destroyed Gore and eventually won the election, mainly because of the momentum he gained out of that first debate. So I'd be very careful, Democrats...keep talking the way you're talking, and just assume that your opponents don't have any political knowledge or skills. You're going to find yourselves defeated, once again.

Corvus: Check this out on Freep, Palin will win for sure now:

Pray for McCain/Palin Drive (NEED WEST COAST FREEPERS TO TAKE EARLY AM SLOTS) (new window)

Just as we did with President Bush prior to his debates in the most recent Presidential elections, we are calling all interested Freepers to sign up for a time to pray for Sarah Palin during her debate with Joe Biden. Another chain will be set up later to pray for McCain's next debate with Obama.

The way this will work is we would like to have someone praying during each half hour of the day on Wednesday. Times posted are EASTERN STANDARD TIME.

If you would like to take a 1/2 hour slot, sign up on this thread and I'll be gathering names and times during the day to make sure that each half hour is covered.

Duplicates are Okay so long as we get all slots filled.

Thank you for your prayers for this nation's future.

Blogger

ESPECIALLY NEED WEST COAST FREEPERS TO TAKE A TIME SLOT IN THE AM HOURS. NOTE, THESE HOURS ARE EASTERN TIME, SO IT WILL BE MUCH EARLIER FOR YOU. THANKS!

You don't understand. Even though double blind studies show that it doesn't... PRAYER WORKS =DDDDD

Jster422: You know, not that I find this remotely likely, but I think the Obama/Biden campaign folks need to at least consider the possibility that Palin could come out and have a really good night.

I mean, clearly the bar has been set low, but if she comes out and actually speaks clearly and intelligently about the issues - it could wipe out all the 'campaign suspension' discussion, and pull McCain way back up in the polls.

I think the Palin Effect is dead and gone, even if she does have a good night. She'll put some life back into his campaign, but he can't overcome the financial meltdown.

Palin Wins! ... If she knows the difference between a tactic and a strategy

I am not real clear on that one myself.

while i would agree, it wouldn't matter today . . . since obama considers military service inconsequential, not at all important to him when considering the position of commander in chief

and of course his supporters don't care about experience either . . .

so it's a moot point, basically, it would seem if you listened to them

Experienced dog sled racers know how to hide their wireless transmitters. Oct. 14: the Discovery Channel airs the first of six hour-long programs, "Toughest Race on Earth: Iditarod." For the series Discovery Channel producers had the Iditarod racers wear wireless microphones around their neck or, in 18 year old Rohn Buser's case, sewed into a pocket.
