Dear Sean Hannity reading a verbatim transcript of the daily Neocon talking points with a couple of comment about how awesome Dubya is does not expert political commentary make.

Dear Submitter,

Thanks for that trenchant analysis.

XOXO,
Penis

2008-09-23 10:59:10 AM
It's a blog. That's what blogs are.

2008-09-23 11:08:57 AM

kronicfeld: It's a blog. That's what blogs are.

and it was a much more substantive blog than half the news articles we get linked on fark.

hell, some of the time we get articles that are literally just a transcript of something and a sentence. and this one didn't even have a transcript.

hence, subby fails on all accounts.

2008-09-23 11:11:51 AM
You would have to be an idiot to not realize how awesome the speech was.

2008-09-23 11:12:32 AM

burndtdan: and it was a much more substantive blog than half the news articles we get linked on fark.

Hell, yes. He actually showed his reasoning.

And yeah, there wasn't a transcription. There was some trenchant and clearly partisan (not that there's anything wrong with that) analysis.

Good read. Thanks, Subby, you twit.

2008-09-23 11:17:47 AM
I just voted for the link. The headline is moronic, the blog is not.

Is the transcript complete with "uhs" and stutters (the way he gave it as opposed to what was written)? No, well, afer all, it is the HP and the Messiah.

The guy is a bigger moran than the people attacking the subby.

The only thing worse than the "Obama is the one" fanatics are people who point it out, usually about someone who has logical reasons for supporting him. You demonstrate a simple-mindedness which you project onto the alleged fanatic. The argument might as well be "You're a towel!", as it creates the same level of discourse.

That's why I'm voting for the Incompetence Ticket this time. Four More Years!

/I'm praying the imprecatory prayer so McCain will die and Palin will merge church and state! Death to infidels!

Yeah, that Obama, he's sure a poor public speaker. Who could possibly enjoy listening to him? If only he had some of the charm of, say, a John McCain.

ROFL.

You keep on swinging there though, champ.

Good thing Obama is Black or his penis wouldnt be large enough for the huffington post, msnbc and dailykos to be on at the same time.

I love how a shift of two to four points has somehow become a trend (goes for both sides BTW)

So subby, do you get equally mad when you watch the reverse on Fox News (or any other newscorp sources), which is much larger and more widely circulated than the Huff Post?

It's to listen to talk radio. My uncle is a crazy stupid right winger and listens to that crap all day, so I've heard some of it before. It's scary how it is so unabashedly brainwashing and indoctrinating. It teaches people not to think.

It's actually very encouraging. They were the ones that convinced a lot of cons that Bush was their savior. He turned out to be the Dems savior.

If your enemy is inducing insanity among their rank and file thats a good thing. Hate radio has really pushed blind loyalty too and thats a way of removing the ability of your party to self correct.

They view any criticisim as disloyalty so they end up marching in lock step following Bush off the edge of the cliff.

Have you ever listened to the "hate radio"? A lot of them have been bashing Bush for being a no-tax and spend "Conservative" for a long time...

Now, teh Islamicistic Terrarisms stuff... that's something talk radio can be pro-Bush about.

/if I am critical of the Barrockstar Obama, does that mean I'm disloyal/anti-American in your world view? It's only "hate" if it's the other side, right?

and here lies your fallacy. There are no logical reasons for supporting Obama. All there is hyperbole and promises that are continually dashed to the ground in the name of "compromise".

I guess nobody noticed that quotes from the speech were just the jumping off point for a long analysis of what the writer thinks Obama should do to win the debates.

Bonus for for actually RTFA: find the dicey use of race politics in one of the items in the list.

Dear Subby, Please take 1st grade English.

Thanks.

/Normally I don't pick on grammar, but that sentence did not make sense AT ALL.

Religion has already achieved that. Why do you think evengelicals comprise the base of the GOP?

Mindless lemmings that get all hot and bothered over some vapid twat from Alaska...Why because she's smart? No, because she is just as dumb as they are!

Yes any man who graduates with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) magna cum laude from Harvard is surely a 'moran', at least when you are sporting an 8th grade education yourself!

Obama is the ONLY candidate who actually understands constitutional law. That should be a pre-req for any Pres.

Sorry Ms. Palin and Mr. POW, you are simply NOT qualified.

There are plenty of people voting for Obama because he is just as this or that as he is. Of course everybody can't be as wise as you and make their decision purely on the issues.
