They did the same thing with Obama. He was new. He was a celebrity because he was new. Biden and McCain they ignored.

I think the press isn't going to have any idea what to do in a month.

Too bad McCain couldn't announce this pick October 27th.

Hey, I brought this up about a week ago.

Because I'm completely new and original.

Who's Sarah Palin? Oh, yeah, McCain's VP pick. Whatever.

Bristol is going to squeeze out her abomination sometime around late October / early November, if she's really "7 months pregnant" like she says. You know they're going to use that.

If she's only 7 months pregnant-- then it wouldn't be until after the elections. I'm 8 months right now, and due on election day.

That's all kinds of awesome...

Only fair -- she was catapulted into prominence for no valid reason.

Not if the Daily Kos crowd has its way. They have an obsession with her that borders on the irrational.

I agree, not like the future of the country (or world) is at stake if she gets into office.

the only thing she had to offer was a gallon of goose shiat about the bridge to nowhere. she's a very unfortunate person.

The governor of Alaska was virtually unknown on the national scene before Sen. John McCain tapped her

Giggity.

Did he tap her in the tanning bed in the Governor's mansion while she was getting travel expenses but not going anywhere?

How can people get bored with this? She's going from über-Reagan in a pantsuit to vindictive, clueless crony in matter of days! It's awesome!

Don't forget, this is the liberal media elite making the claim. Certainly, using McLogic, you must conclude that she will be more popular than the Beatles by Nov 4, making her (by rule) more popular than Jesus. Think Jesus can get a word in edgewise when she's influencing policy decisions?

Who am I kidding? She won't be involved at all in the new administration.

Maybe she can go to Ireland and trade tea pots.

Wow, Palin is currently stuck in this softcore-porn kind of position, only with clothes. Odd.

"The Sarah Palin Phenomenon Is Doomed."

Not if Jon Stewart has anything to say about it. The guy has been right on target with her. Have you heard her talk? *shudder*

Nothing new for Palin I am sure.

Very pleasing on first view but then she opens her mouth and her stock plummets.

I can't figure out whats worse, the tinny shrill voice, the annoying accent or the idiotic beliefs.

I'm going with:

1) Idiotic Beliefs
2) Tinny Voice
3) Accent

/Minnesotan. I get to hear an accent like that when I get away from the Twin Cities, you betcha.

I stand by it... the Republicans will not allow a rollback, not after all they've "achieved". I'm not happy about it, but seriously, if one is impartial about it for a minute, it's obvious in my (very) humble opinion.

And 2006 was yet another wasted opportunity for the Democratic Party. They had such a great chance to make a stand, and squandered it like a hooker at a eunich convention.

Hard to overestimate the attention span of the media. Not sure I agree with the whole aticle, but I do think it's going to be difficult for McCain to maintain this campaign strategy until November. Palin is carrying him now, and when she falls out of the spotlight, he'll drop like a stone.
