My God, the condescension is out of this world. That's even worse than that article from Slate a couple days ago that said "Palin is not even a serious candidate for elected office."

This is why the left loses and will continue to lose. Whenever anyone disagrees with them they are stupid and don't deserve to even be heard.

The scary part is that the GOP base is so tuned into the identity politics schtick, as soon as Palin was announced they were all on their knees like she was going to give birth to their savior or something.

And then, whenever one of her flaws is revealed, they go into 'Chivalry Mode' and come galloping mindlessly to her rescue no matter how ridiculous the lie they must tell is.

Spike Lee had it right. Don't believe the hype.

If Gay is the new black, I don't know. To answer their question: I don't know. I don't really like Shelly Obama. She is smart, sucesful and other great qualities, but something about her annoys me. But I honestly beleive she would kick Barack's a$$ if he cheated on her. I don't think he would do that, but he is a guy after all. As for McCain, he has already done so on his first wife, i think. But he is old, old people cannot have relations

I don't get it. Palin delivers a Bush-esque speech delivered by a Bush speech writer that appeals only to the lowest common denominator and somehow this makes her tough in some way?

Anybody can get up on stage and read a script they did not write. Obama on the other hand speaks his own words and his own ideas.
