The Kos does for the Left what Bill O'Asshat does for the Right. Let's move on.

Bill O'Reilly flips out on those evil liberal bloggers

Isn't that his whole shtick? . . like what he gets paid for?

I think that Obama's call for his and all ads for Democratic candidates be pulled from Daily Kos showed his words held real meaning and was not an empty gesture to provide political cover.

2008-09-02 09:33:54 AM
maybe he should blame Palin for shoving her family out into the limelight like that? I mean really. She has a 4 month old baby with Down's and is going to take on the most demanding job in the world.
What does that say about her family values? really. you people are farking insane to think that's an attribute.

2008-09-02 09:34:21 AM
Obama doesn't wanna talk about Bristol Palin's pregnancy cuz he's the father!!!

The Vice Presidency is the most demanding job in the world? All you have to do is hang out in an undisclosed location and blast birdshot in the face of a lawyer. Palin lived in Alaska and has experience shooting animals.

2008-09-02 09:38:04 AM
And we know that Bill personally makes sure the comments and posts on his website are all moderated and cleared, thereby being free of rash innuendo or smear.

You forgot the part about having secret meetings with oil executives and fighting in court to have that meeting remain confidential.

When you put it like that, she is perfectly suited for the job. Does Biden even know how to fire a gun?

Let's go on national television to complain about it!

Shyeah right. Col. Tigh called Roslin a naïve little schoolteacher. I can only imagine what he'd say to Palin. When Palin starts throwing cylons out airlocks, let me know.

So McCain's a drunken Cyclon and former terrorist who killed his first wife, and Palin's a religious whack-job on hallucinogens and is dying of cancer? Keep in mind that Roslin led her people to a dead planet that is a smoking ash from nuclear war too...

What? does this refer to?

Why would any Democrat waste valuable dollars advocating themselves to a friendly audience . . . on the internet?

Google pulls nothing up about Obama Kos Advertising (new window).

Is this some new goofy Right Wing strawman?

Hi Keith, keep up the good work.

Bill, we've listened to you whining and have a solution -- make all FCC licensed stations fair and balanced with the Fairness Doctrine. Coming in early 2009. About the same time you check into rehab.

2008-09-02 10:00:56 AM
It seems that the McCain/Palin campaign have not learned one of the most important lesson in contemporary politics. You have to be upfront about potentially scandalous information. Otherwise, you will be hounded and people will speculate things far worse than reality. On top of that, if you try to be coy or lawyerly about the facts, you get no points for being a straight talker, which is a trait that the American people claim to value.

It was obvious that there was something being hidden, and they made it worse by not just quietly letting it be know that her daughter was pregnant and that they were handling this personal family matter. Instead they let the rumors get out of control. You'd think they would have learned from the bad examples of Bill Clinton and John Edwards.

Brilliant! Let's put our government in charge of content regulation!

Hi Keith, keep up the good work.

I bet O'Reilly was a kickass marine core soldier.

O'Reilly: We've got a caller. Roger. Roger from Portland, Oregon. What say you Roger?

Roger: Yeah, hey, Bill. First things first. You just said you've been in combat, but you've never been in the military, have you?

O'Reilly: No I have not.
Roger: Then why do you say you've been in combat?

O'Reilly: Why do I say that, Roger? Because I was in the middle of a couple of firefights in South and Central America.

Roger: But you were a media guy.

O'Reilly: Yeah. A media guy with a pen, not a gun. And people were shooting at me, Roger.

Roger: People might think that you actually were in the military.

O'Reilly: Oh... We don't want to mislead anybody. But I made it quite clear... quite clear in many, many circumstances --

Roger: [mumbles something about being, or not being, "fair and balanced"]

O'Reilly: [quietly disconnects Roger] Yeah. Hey listen, Roger. You can take your little "fair and balanced" uh... snip remark and shove it, okay? You're not getting on this air. Um... You, mister macho man, have never come close to anything I've done, down where I've been. So take a walk and... uh... 'nuff said.

Putting the government in charge of content regulation is really a great idea. It will save me (and millions of others) from having to press the channel change button every time oreilly or oberman com on. It's SOOOO much work to change the channel. I really the the government should make such activity unnecessary.

That's classy on Obama's part. However, he, and all politicians, do so knowing that regardless of what they say the fringe elements will pick this shiat up and run with it.

So, they should hold a press conference to announce that they are handling the pregnancy as a personal, family matter? Maybe buy some ad space to announce this "personal family matter."

Yep. Her pregnancy was going to come out sooner or later anyway. By acknowledging early, they could have taken a lot of wind out of the sails of their detractors.

Trouble is, it was already too late for the McCain campaign. Having no issues on their side, and reeking with Bush-stink, the McCain campaign had no choice but to go personal and dirty on Obama. Now, the chickens come home to roost. It really stinks that McCain was chosen to be the sacrificial goat, but that's what the modern Republican party has become - a treacherous beast that eats it's own young.

Congrats on your failure in the use of the "concern troll" meme. I'm sure it goes nicely with the rest of your failures.
