I remember watching the censored-for-television version of that scene. It just wasn't the same.

Looks like it's delayed permanently, since it no longer has a publisher.

2008-08-02 5:22:34 PM
I saw a sneak peak of this game and I've seen shiat that will turn you white.

You know, it just occurred to me that we really haven't had a successful beta test of this game.

Getting a publisher will be easy. The problem was that this was under the Vivendi Games banner, being tested by them, and Vivendi just laid off most of their testers BECAUSE of the Activision Blizzard merger.

I'm curious if it was postponed also for the same reason Scarface was initially postponed, the initial versions of that game were absolute shiate.

It came, we saw, they kicked our ass.

I can't even finish this post.

OK, where was I?

I used to love that game! Video of gameplay (new window)

Like everything else the entertainment media is recycling everything into our new technologies.

I heard they couldn't find the Keymaster to open the filing cabinet where they had the install DVD stashed.

maybe they should get a court order so they can sure their ass for wrongful prosecution

The game developers have obviously never worked in the private sector. There, people actually expect results.

I miss Sierra. Space Quest, Quest for Glory, Leisure Suit Larry, King's Quest, Police quest. Those kind of adventure games were great stuff, but sadly forgotten/never heard of by most nowdays.

Fark Vivendi for letting those series go dormant. They could have updated them if they wanted but mostly chose not to (LSL Magna Cum Laude was ok, but not the best). If anyone cares, go check out AGD Interactive (new window) for a VGA version of Quest for Glory 2: Trial by Fire that should be out to download soon. Looks like its gonna kick some ass! They also have VGA versions of the first two King's Quest games that are great as well.

I think the issue is that if this game is released, they'd be exposing themselves.

And you don't want them exposing themselves.

Hey you cant park that here!

Everyone can relax, i found a car!

It only needs brakes, transmission, plugs, wires, fuel lines, etc..

As a game tester, I find your remark tasteless and offensive. QA is Serious Business, and I'll thank you for keeping your opinions to yourselves.

What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor, real wrath of God type stuff. Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling!
Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes...
The dead rising from the grave!
Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

I make it a rule never to play games based on movies.

Well, actually it's more of a guideline than a rule.
