Wow, his support will diminish if he pushes Europe to enter in to a war that they don't want to enter. Thanks for that shocker.

That must be a new reason not to vote for Obama, because if McCain asks Europeans to enter a war they dislike...they would rally behind him.

Yeah, cause imagine how terrible it would be if we ever ended up with a President who, through his own stubbornness, invaded another country even though our allies said he shouldn't.

Thank god that's never happened, and we should make sure that Barack Hussein Obama, secret Muslim, is not elected over the sensible John "Bomb Iran" McCain, who will never let our boys cross that Iraq-Pakistan border.

Quite possibly the greatest analysis of the two scenarios in the history of ever.

But please, tell me one thing, what the bloody f*ck color is the sky in the world where those two things are true as you stated them?

And, if you do believe those two things as completely true, why has the mental institution given you access to the internet?

ABC News: "In a strikingly bold speech about terrorism Wednesday, Democratic presidential candidate Illinois Sen. Barack Obama called not only for a withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, but a redeployment of troops into Afghanistan and even Pakistan - with or without the permission of Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf."

"Redeployment of troops from Iraq into Pakistan" sounds like an occupation of the villages where the search would be taking place. And the Pakistani Army will provide armed resistance to any such "redeployment" if Musharraf has not given permission beforehand, believe you me.

As for McCain's one time aerial bombing lasting at most a week -- that's always been the US and/or Israeli policy. No one in either country (or any other country for that matter) is comtemplating sending in any ground troops to Iran.

you're a farking moron.

From your farking article..."If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will."

You and JAKE TAPPER of ABC obviously have no clue what a "redeployment" of troops means.

but hey...spinspinspin. reality will catch up with you sooner or later.

We don't know for sure that Osama's dead. And actually LOOKING for him is better than what Bushy did (that is, let him escape and attack Saddam...who, by the way, was considered an enemy by Osama)

submitter: his backing will dissipate the first time he presses Europe to send more troops to Afghanistan

Weird, I must have been suffering from a brain injury when I heard our Prime Minister (as of 0857 BST) support the redeployment of British troops from Iraq to Afghanistan and suggest that the scope of our role could be extended.

or to support an aggressive U.S. military stance at odds with Europe

Well duh.

Do you have pictures of Osama in front of some Pakistani mountains? Or are you going with "Curveball" on this one?

Unless hes wearing some kind of GPS transmitter that shows hes in the Pakistani mountains, then we can only ASSUME that he is.

It would be pretty funny to watch obama become unglued like bush did, but instead go from clean negro suit to an huge fro, wearing a hair pic, and a pimp suit over the next 8 years in the whitehouse. Just like early beatles late beatles or early hendrix late hendrix.
Yeah....that's it.

Obama has two cows, and Musharraf has two cows. Now, if Obama wants to redeploy his cows into Musharraf's barn, and Musharraf threatens military action against Obama if he follows through, how stupid was Obama's idea?

It won't be just the Europeans who'll be disillusioned.

I've said it before, but it bears repeating: An Obama victory will almost be worth it just to see the look on his supporters' faces when he turns around and tells them that US troops will be in Iraq throughout his Presidency.

Lionel Mandrake: Oh, all of a sudden Conservatives care about Europe?

Seems to me that if liberals really care about what Europe thinks, they will take this into account. Voting for a candidate, just because he pleases other countries, is bad policy, and it is made worse when it becomes pretty clear that there is no pleasing other countries.

What Europe thinks should not matter. This is not their election, but ours. Unless they think it is a good idea that we start taking part in their elections too, they should just stop their kvetching and deal with it.

Where the fark you think he is hiding at in Sweden? Our intelligence has concrete proof he is in the Waziristan area of the Pakistani/Afghani border. He is able to slip in and out of the area due to the mountainous terrain where Al-Qaeda and the Taliban are able to trade money and weapons. Musharaaf wants them dead, but domestically he is politically weak due to his own perception as a dictator. Pakistanis hate the tribalism in that area because of the increase of fundamentalism shoved down their throat, but they don't have the resources to hunt him down. Pakistan is a more threat if the fundies take over, god forbid if Musharraf is taken out of office.

Right, because Iran will just giggle and say, "Oh, you silly Americans!" after we blow up stuff in their country. Those missiles they fire at us? Filled with yummy candies they are.

Irrelevant. Very few will vote for Omaba for the sole premise of getting the troops home.

Dude calm down everyone knows we are going to have some forces there to protect the infrastructure and embassy, but nothing in comparison to what we have now. Even McCain agrees with that.

The Government of Pakistan believes it, the Government of Afghanistan believes it, and our troops in Afghanistan believe it. After Bush, how could he go wrong? I feel confident he won't molest any female foreign dignitaries. I feel strongly that he'll bring meaningful diatribe to global discussions.

My biggest hope is that if he's elected, he doesn't surround himself with corporate shills like bush chose to, and instead forms a governing body. Pipe dream, I know.

Yes, because once that becomes public, we will be forced to withdraw troops from Afghanistan, stop spending money their, and actually have to admit Bush did a good job. But us Nazi Republicans only have one goal: continue risking American lives and spending money for as long as possible
