That's some fine misleading headline writin' there, subby.

I have my "I take fark headlines literally" hat on.

Anyone can hold intellectual copyrights.

That is all.

Monica who? Probably did it to get her name in the press.

/Never heard of her
//Sounds like a douche but probably less annoying than listening to...

"You're a great American."
"No, YOU'RE a great American"
"No,no, YOU ARE A GREAT AMERICAN"

///Leans right.

LOL, what a dumbass article.

So this Monica made a one second mistake and said "she created" it, meaning her staff of course. She probably thought her staff did.

I also see in her "proof" that the 6/21/08 show isn't listed. Neither is the 6/7/08 show. Gee, I wonder if that is the one where she said +++LOST CARRIER---

Then all it would take to fix it is a one-second apology.

None of those excuses hold any water. If she made a mistake, she need to come out admit it and maybe even apologize. What do you suppose the chances of that ever happening might be?

I'm sure you felt the same way when Joe Biden "lifted" a few sentences for one of his speeches. I'm sure you gave him the benefit of the doubt, claiming it was probably one of his speechwriter's fault and that we shouldn't hold Joe responsible, right?

so, this lib, wrapped up in her hatred, flung her own spawn to the ground?

I'm more concerned that the woman "dropped her baby" when she didn't get credit for the AD as it was played on the radio. The least she could have said was "I put down the baby". Sucks that she didn't get credit, but you don't need to emphasize your outrage by figuratively describing child abuse.

/you can drop a remote, you put the baby down
//sorry I'm a little sore on the subject but a friend's baby just died when the sitter dropped it, causing head trauma.

Random Reality Check:If she made a mistake, she need to come out admit it and maybe even apologize.

I too think she should give an apology. Once you know of a mistake you should always apoligize.

Random Reality Check:I'm sure you felt the same way when Joe Biden "lifted" a few sentences for one of his speeches.

Biden plagurized a life story. I can't believe you are so in the tank for him that you can't see what he did was wrong. Shame on you.

Who the hell is Monica Crowley? I've never heard of her. Judging from the picture, she's kinda hittable.

To blatantly plagiarize Jon Stewart:

Really? (new window)

In 1987, Joe Biden ran as a Democratic presidential candidate. When the campaign began, he was considered a frontrunner because of his moderate image. However, the campaign ended when he was accused of plagiarizing a speech by Neil Kinnock, then-leader of the British Labour Party. Though Biden had correctly credited the original author in all speeches but one, the one where he failed to make mention of the originator was caught on video. In the video Biden is filmed repeating a stump speech by Kinnock, with only minor modifications. "Why is it that Joe Biden is the first in his family ever to go a university? Why is it that my wife . . . is the first in her family to ever go to college? Is it because our fathers and mothers were not bright? . . . Is it because they didn't work hard? My ancestors who worked in the coal mines of northeast Pennsylvania and would come after 12 hours and play football for four hours? It's because they didn't have a platform on which to stand." After Biden withdrew from the race it was learned that he had correctly credited Kinnock on other occasions. He failed to do so, however, in the Iowa speech that was recorded and distributed to reporters (with a parallel video of Kinnock) by aides to Michael Dukakis, the eventual nominee. Dukakis fired John Sasso, his campaign manager and long-time Chief of Staff, but Biden's campaign could not recover.

Seems to me this is supposed to be sort of satirical, faux-outrage. A line about dropping the baby in the same paragraph as "then I remembered TiVo doesn't record the radio so I picked up my baby"? Comedy gold.

Not to belittle your friends loss, but if she had said "I put down the baby", my reaction would have been, "Well that's a little extreme, don't you think?"

Monica makes my nether regions tingle.

And I hate myself for that.

Sounds like the chick from TFA has been watching I Love the New Millennium because she ripped off Bill Dwyer's riff on the radio not having TiVO...

2008-07-03 9:25:31 AM
Everything in show business is ripped off from somebody else. By everything, I mean statistically everything, like 95%.

The one example I like to hold up to needle my liberal friends with is the fact that Comedy Central's The Daily Show (now with Jon Stewart, who is held in near god-like status in lefty pop culture) is a pure rip off of early Rush Limbaugh, especially of his TV show from the 1990s.

You can almost see the cognitive dissonance exploding inside their head when they realize it's true.

Hah hah.

Conservatives don't plagarise from babies. They're just naturally infantile & bratty. Any relation to a toddler's tantrums is purely coincidental.

I just adore a penthouse view.
Dawling I love you but give me Park Avenue!

Somebody toss that Zsa Zsa, anchored herself into the US by marrying some gay blade, Euro Soros biatch out on her furner ear.

Please clue me in to any distinct similarties, beside that both were current event shows, and both are laughable (in completely different ways)?

"Intellectual copyright"? Is this for real?

That broad's name aint Arianna Huffington. It's Ariadne Anna Stassinopoulos. She's a agent for people that want to fark us. She's backed by Soros' Kraftwerk Boys who are laughing as their Euro ramps in value and we go broke because their agents like this coont run down our leaders.

Anyone but someone whose family and fortunes lie overseas could run a decent anti-establishment blog and it would be cool. This aint cool. And if Fark takes money from them it's another nail in our coffin. You can't sell out every last principle for money.

Having heard Crowley's show a couple of times I've decided she's basically a better looking version of Ann Coulter who's ideology runs somewhat to the right of Josef Mengele.

/She can choke on a BoD.

And she would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!

/I suggest we "suicide ram" her with our triremes. Right? (Apologies to those who won't get this reference--he does)
