(Breitbart.com)   Campaign coverage has reached the phase where the media is running stories about whether the media is running too many stories. If only someone would write a book about this stuff   (breitbart.com) divider line

Why do so many people feel the need to post in threads about this shiat? I mean, seriously, aren't there better things for us to talk about on Fark?

The first few months of the process are at least an ATTEMPT to debate the issues. The remaining months and months and months and months and months and months are devoted to waiting for someone to say something stupid and/or controversial. Or for their pastor to say something stupid and/or controversial.

The method by which we elect people makes almost no sense whatsoever. It's a huge waste of time and money, all of the important issues get completely overrun by meaningless talking points and controversies, and the very concept of whoever-gets-the-most-votes-wins has been almost completely erased.

Fark this shiat

And then someone could write a book about people who write books about the media presenting crap as news, with the twist of approving deliberately inflammatory headlines to boost page views of the discussions of the crap had been presented as news ...

/too meta?

I was going for irony. I was writing the post in which I observe that too many people are posting in threads about the media running stories about whether it was running too many stories. I guess it was too meta.

But who is Britney endorsing? And what did she have for breakfast?

Answer these questions, you damn media! Tell me what to fear and appeal to my emotions! Sob stories! Controversy! Suppress any thought! And in between, tell me what cars to buy and what fast food to eat!

Thanks in advance.

Love,

Some are now wondering if Farkers are posting too many meta-satire posts. In fact, I think far too much time is spent discussing this, taking time away from the core issues: beer, boobies, and large-nutted squirrels.

I could told you that in December.

Ever notice they all jumped on the bandwagon and off the Iraq stories? I don't think i've seen one on TV (besides the daily show) in a long time.

I for one believe that too many farkers are posting about posts that refer to meta-satire posts. I mean aren't there other things more important to worry about?

Yes, i'm going to read a pile of trash criticizing the sell-out money-whore media written by someone who sold out and whores his site for money.

I once read a book about that kind of thing. It was called Disinformation or something like that. It took itself way too seriously, so I went back to meta-satire sites full of posts by men with manhood issues who drink too much beer and think about boobies all the time.

Penis.
