(Huffington Post)   Governor Jon Corzine (D-Huff Post) loudly and angrily insists he is not -- repeat NOT -- going to stop supporting Hillary. Translation: He'll be an Obama supporter by the end of this week   (huffingtonpost.com) divider line

I sure hope so, but I find that people for Hillary tend to stay that way.

hahahaha kidding

I bet Hillary's control-top panel is about to stop supporting her.

If any of these dickholes actually wanted voices heard, they'd push for cheap caucuses to short circuit any bleeting from the states about costs.

Oh, caucuses are out of the question? Fancy that.

101.5 calls out Corzine's bs on a daily basis.. first it was the 800% toll hike.. then it was setting up a private corporation funded by tax dollars (hiring his former Goldman Sachs buddies) and they'd get gov't pensions while being private employees... then the constant tuition and property tax hikes.. and now people are leaving NJ faster than ever (myself included very soon) but OHNOES, you get taxed for leaving the state now!

from his wikipedia page:

After being forced from Goldman Sachs in January 1999, Corzine campaigned for one of New Jersey's Senate seats after Frank Lautenberg announced his retirement. Corzine was elected to the Senate by a four percent margin over his Republican opponent Bob Franks in the November 2000 election and was sworn into the Senate in January 2001. He spent over $62 million of his own money on his campaign, the most expensive Senate campaign in U.S. history - over $33 million of this was spent on the primary election alone, where he defeated former Governor James Florio 58%-42%

Corzine's candidacy for Governor, like his prior run for the U.S. Senate, broke all prior spending records. The combined expenditures for Corzine's run for the Senate and Governorship exceeded $100 million.

Corzine won his campaign for the post of Governor of New Jersey with 54% of the vote. Republican nominee Doug Forrester, a businessman and a former Mayor of West Windsor Township, in Mercer County, won 43%. Corzine received 1,224,493 votes to Forrester's 985,235. A total of 80,277 votes, or 3%, were scattered among other candidates.

that's a lot of money to spend. i wonder what he thinks is an acceptable return?

Spike Lee rants are awesome. I saw him go off on a 20 minute rant about Driving Miss Daisy once which went up against his own Malcolm X at the Oscars. I don't mean to denigrate his actual message at all, but the guy's hilariously angry when he gets into it.

if voters can't ask themselves why someone would want to spend 62 millin dollars of their cash to become your 'servant', then why do we even bother arguing about politics based on anything other than who looks good in a suit. advantage, obama.

Well, it's obvious that they feel they can do good in office. Hillary has shown that she is willing to put up $5 million dollars of her own money. Why doesn't Obama show an equal willingness to put up the same amount into his own campaign?

$5 million isn't pocket change. That's a lot of money to average people. Besides, I thought he made quite a bit off the Rezko stuff.

Yeah, Corzine is a horse's ass. New Jersey is getting shafted. His approval rating is hovering, I believe, 4 or 5 points above Bush at this point. Worst governor I've lived through...

Here's hoping NJ and Penn get some Obama coattails. And I can think of a state that needs an up and coming new senator very soon.

As someone from New Jersey, I can honestly and educatedly say ...

FARK CORZINE!
