Obama has no flaws. He is glorious perfection in this mortal incarnation and will lead us all to a shining Zion on the hill.

Barack Hussein Obama doesn't say "please" or "thank you".

Sounds more like he's describing the media's actions as "going in for the kill" rather than "investigation".

Jon Snow: Barack Hussein Obama doesn't say "please" or "thank you".

Instead he says "Tafadhali" and "Asante sana". Savage!

Before long, people tend to turn on our messiahs, and Obama will be no different. Come November, his campaign will be nailed to a tree, with a sign overhead:

Barack Obama Rex Laevus

This is the state of the media today: more interested in discussing itself than actual news.

2008-02-25 2:02:02 PM
What, exactly, would you like the media to tell you about Obama?

Do we think there is some malfeasense in his background?
Do we think he's done something we don't know about?
Do we think he's hiding something?

I would rather the media focus on the issues, than search for something to "nail" the candidates on.

I think Kublai Khan's comment is the most insightful comment I'll see on Fark all day.

The media is far from in love with Obama. They have been trying to find something to nail each of the front runners on... just look at the treatment that media darling McCain is getting because of questionable ties to lobbyists.

Their problem with Obama is that he has already laid out all of his skeletons bare years ago. And every attempt so far to hang an albatross on him has done nothing but embarrass the person doing it. And I think because of that the press may be a bit gun shy of attacking Obama, because doing so in the past has harmed the messenger much more than the target.

But teh emails say he's a mooslum.

what_now: I would rather the media focus on the issues, than search for something to "nail" the candidates on.

to me, issues don't mean anything, or if they do, just a little bit. in most cases, the new president has a hard time getting his issues past congress or is forced to water them down. or they give him his easy issues and blow off the big ideas. (anybody remember bill clinton's big issue in 1992? [infrastructure])

that's why character is most important. issues fade quickly; we need to know what kind of person we're putting in charge to deal with problems and issues he isn't briefed on or that which no one can predict happening, but do.

Same here. The only issue-related reasons I voted for Obama are his support for net neutrality and Hillary's "Big Mother" approach to video games.

Mostly, I couldn't stand Hillary's obvious politics-as-usual approach, and her eventual loss to McCain.

This.

Republicans have been gearing up for a Hillary v. GOP race for years. If Barack gets it, the Republicans don't have a chance.

If Hillary gets it, they might just disgust enough left leaning young people to get them to stay home. And Nader will cinch the deal.

Ever since Gary Hart (Yeah, get off my lawn, I know) the media have invested waaaaaaaaay more time investigating a candidate's personal life than their record. I think the fact that Obama's come this far and they haven't dug up anything huge on him yet is a pretty good indicator. I mean seriously, whaddya got?

o Middle name's HUSSEIN!
o Used to go by BARRY!
o I think he's a MUSLIM!
o He's BLACK! SO WELL SPOKEN!
o He put on some Somali woman's DRESS!
o He's mean to HILLARY!

Really? That's it? Wow. And I mean, wow.

I guarantee you'd find a lot more in my past to rag on... most of yours too, I suspect.

/Hey, keep looking... I'm all in favor of that.
/But at some point... consider maybe that he's just not evil incarnate.

Clinton campaign commits felony fundraising violations

Watch the video

Updated 11:21 EST: For more information visit Hillcap.org. Reported in my comments, on Oct. 27 a 1-hour film will be shown at Dartmouth and at the Metropolitan Republican Club in N.Y. on Oct. 30.

For several days now, Google's Top Ranked Video watched, formerly called "Hillary Exposed" has become very popular and I can see why. It is Hillary Clinton in true form captured in her own words and actions. Makes you wonder if anything will come of it involving fraud?? Humm!!

"It is an amazing video- really amazing," Jim at Gateway Pundit stated on his blog along with looking back at Clinton Culture of Corruption years, at must read.

More from Gateway Pundit

UPDATE: This seems like a good time to look back at the the record-setting Clinton Culture of Corruption Years: **

* Number close to the Clinton machine who have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to crimes: 44
* Number of convictions during his administration: 33
* Number of indictments/misdemeanor charges: 61
* Number of imprisonments: 14
* Number of presidential impeachments: 1
* Number of independent counsel investigations: 7
* Number of congressional witnesses pleading the 5th Amendment: 72
* Number of witnesses fleeing the country to avoid testifying: 17
* Number of foreign witnesses who have declined interviews by investigative bodies: 19

The Clinton machine now holds the record for the administration with:

* The most number of convictions and guilty pleas
* The most number of cabinet members to come under criminal investigation
* The most number of witnesses to flee the country or refuse to testify
* The most number of key witnesses to die suddenly
* The greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
* The greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad.
The Bush Administration has quite a bit of catching up to do!

** This list does not included the Norman Hsu donations scandal or the Hillcap scandal.
