In real life, though, you'd be bombarded by no less than 3 javascript consoles asking you to set your homepage to "netster" or some pages horking penis enlarging pills made out of all natural poo left over from the german scat taping.

2002-10-27 04:24:10 PM
Last time I checked, it didn't spawn additional popups just by clicking on the title bar instead of the window. Pfft.. "realistic" indeed
2002-10-27 04:24:36 PM

To the Opera users:

I seem to have trouble opening certain "java" pages in Opera. Is there a solution to this, or don't these pages work in Opera?

For instance.. If I go to NHL.com and try to listen to a hockey game on Online Radio, clicking the link doesn't work. In Internet Explorer it works...

Is there a way to fix this, so that I can open these types of links in Opera? I think it may be a java issue, and I like the program a lot. It would be ideal if I could do all of my surfing in one program and not have to change to IE for some pages...

2002-10-27 04:46:56 PM
174, and then my hand cramped up. I'm even dumber than I thought.
2002-10-27 04:47:50 PM
I scored a mighty 17. Getting rusty, need to practice mouse skills...
2002-10-27 04:48:56 PM
Boomslang: Some pages will not work in Opera. It lies with the builder of the site. All you can do is enable pop-ups for those pages, but some won't work no matter what.

Rhiannon: Thanks for the help.

Opera is a really well done browser, and I like it a lot. THe only things I use on a daily basis that don't work are NHL Radio and my fantasy sports StatTracker. I think I can deal with that. I appreciate the help.
2002-10-27 04:55:06 PM
You know, that could have been cool if it didn't suck so much
