I had sex when I was 15 with a girl the same age. She grew up to be a super Jesus freak 'kill-all-the-Muslims' nutball Republican with two baby daddys. Glad I got out of that one.

I'd love to take credit, I really would, but her family was a bunch of psycho hillbillies long before I hit the scene. Her father scared the crap out of me. The only time I ever ate dinner at their house, he got stern with me for attempting to take my plate to the sink when we were finished eating, warning me ominously that "that was wimmin work". There was a bullet hole in the living room ceiling from when he and the missus "had an argument". It was three feet to the left of where their 8 year old son's bed was upstairs.

I have a Mossberg 500. No laser sight though, I'm not handicapped.

Did have a father show me his gun collection once. It kind of backfired on him when he realized I was wearing my letter jacket, with my Rifle Team letter on it...

Oh, please Subby. No teen boy is remotely scared of you anymore. Your little girl is probably blowing guys for drinks all weekend long, and no one is remotely afraid of you. They know you can't do anything. After all, you come after them, beat them up... all they have to say is that you beat them because they wouldn't let you feel their junk.

hahaha thats great. One of my friends dads would make sure he was cleaning his guns when her boyfriend would come over. Of course, her dad was the type that would randomly pop up at places she said she'd be. So she was always to paranoid to lie. I loved that man.

I think that's a negative on both counts.

My daughter is one of ten girls under the age of three in my circle of friends. The dads are going to start a shotgun polishing club and meet on the front porch of whoever has a date that night.

Folks say people are having sex earlier. Really though, when you look at folks my grandparents age, they were getting it on just as early. Basically, getting married at 14 was the loophole.

Have a friend that I used to pick on about this. Back in high school he was the guy that would have one girl upstairs, one in the family room, and one on the phone.

Now is the father of two girls. Love to remind him that 'everyone says' that girls marry guys just like their dad.

If you consider that most people didn't live past 40 until recently (say 1800), I think it's pretty obvious that they were getting it on in their early teens.

If I remember my liberal arts "Women, Marriage and the Family in Medieval Europe" class correctly, it wasn't uncommon to marry at 13.

I'm guessing you could have lost your virginity at any time if you had so desired.

I didn't loose mine until college either, but I'm a guy, and I had a terrible self-image thanks to an asshole father.

That not a bad thing. I mean, does having sex as a teen dramatically improve peoples lives? Sex is great but if you're a virgin its not going to magically make everything perfect. And you cant really miss what you havent had. Or maybe that was just me. I never did understand why people were so anxious to have sex.

This.

In my high school, the problem wasn't finding girls begging to put out in every way imaginable, it was finding a girl who wasn't like that. If you waited till 16, you were...um...to socially lame to live. Or something. And no one was afraid of dads, ever.

I had two particularly notable experiences, at opposite ends of the spectrum, when picking up girls for dates...

One girl's father was an engineer, and when my date took me in to the kitchen to meet him, he was honest-to-god slicing a cucumber... he continued slicing it as we talked... and as if to leave no doubt about why he was slicing a cucumber, as we wrapped it up and began to leave, he scraped the whole thing, every single slice, into the trash.

Ironically, the other girl's dad was an Army Major, and as she and I were getting ready to leave he said "You have her back here by 11:30... scratch that, make it 1:00... you guys need some time to make out, just don't bring her back pregnant."

Ah, see...I waited about seven years to marry her. I thought all was right with the world. Then it all just stopped out of the blue.

It's been 10 years and I think it was one of the most important things that happnened to me.

My dad did the same thing with me and my sister. Hell, even before that, when my now-ex was nothing more than a good friend I was always talking about, Dad would ask whether he was the kind of "friend" who needed a baseball bat to the kneecaps.

Nope. Actually I was chubby and ugly in high school and the first 1 1/2 yrs of college so it wasn't by choice at all.

Hey join the club. I had a terrible self image thanks to both parents, friends and guys, and I have an asshole father too so I have my fair share of daddy issues.
