In soviet - oh ... never mind.
2002-10-25 10:21:55 AM
Hunter safety is alive and well I see.
2002-10-25 10:22:17 AM
Crazed by an ingested breast implant, no doubt. . . . unless, of course, he'd been hired by Courtney Love. . . .
2002-10-25 10:22:22 AM
And this is ironic because a hunter usually shoots his own dog?
2002-10-25 10:22:30 AM
what? a copy-cat dog?

sniper? again?

2002-10-25 10:22:49 AM
Man's best friend indeed.

Here comes another tiresome gun ban vs constitutional freedom flame war thread. Im not sticking around.
2002-10-25 10:22:50 AM
This happens somewhere every year.

2002-10-25 10:22:51 AM
Chuck Knutson

No comment, I just thought it was worth saying that name again.

Everytime a hunter is shot, Nick Carter makes a booty call.

"That's the hard part, talking to people, because you feel like such a fool,"

You left a loaded gun lying on the ground, pointing towards yourself, presumably with the safety off. You my friend, ARE a fool.
2002-10-25 10:26:59 AM
Ahahahaha. Ha.Ha.
2002-10-25 10:27:30 AM
I heard that the dog has anti-American sentiments.

Wacky terrorists--what will they do next?
2002-10-25 10:27:31 AM
Loaded shotgun laying on the ground? Be glad it wasn't your head dumbass.
2002-10-25 10:27:44 AM
Icehousedesigns was being prophetic when he said "What a dumbass", as the next post proved.
2002-10-25 10:28:09 AM
First, the dog eats your homework and now it's shooting you?? Whassup with that?
2002-10-25 10:29:15 AM
So he gets shot in the foot with a 12 gauge, and 15 stitches and he is all fixed. Must have just BARELY grazed him.
2002-10-25 10:29:42 AM
AuntofDogface:- yeah, but you can get your own back by feeding it Courtney Love's tit's

morons like this make it hard to support the right to bear arms

there's a test to be able to drive, why not make gun saftey classes mandetory or something (then again, there are some dumb ass farkers on the road too, maybe i just argued against myself)

Doggy Snipers: The Next Big Threat?
2002-10-25 10:30:23 AM
Too bad it didn't kill him. It would have been one less hunter asshat.

I always love the stories when a hunter kills his brother, or his cousin or any other of his inbed relatives.
2002-10-25 10:31:20 AM
outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend...inside a dog, it's too dark to read.
2002-10-25 10:31:45 AM
GooberMcFly :)
2002-10-25 10:33:18 AM
What is an inbed relative? His wife?
2002-10-25 10:33:37 AM
the dog was brainwashed by PETA.
2002-10-25 10:33:50 AM
Guns don't kill people. People's own dogs kill people.
2002-10-25 10:34:03 AM
It's called the "safety" switch, use it dumb-ass...
2002-10-25 10:34:42 AM
Shagadog - Hey, nice job there. Got any more huge ass pictures you want to post?
2002-10-25 10:34:50 AM
Must have just barely grazed him. A shotgun blast at close range should have liquified his foot.

Any HTML yet? Any?
2002-10-25 10:35:05 AM
It probably scared the sith out of the poor puppy!
2002-10-25 10:35:49 AM
BELOME: "So he gets shot in the foot with a 12 gauge, and 15 stitches and he is all fixed. Must have just BARELY grazed him".

Perhaps the shotgun was loaded with birdshot, it being the first day of pheasant season, according to the article.
2002-10-25 10:36:40 AM
Somebody already said it so i won't labour the point.

Amusing yes, ironic no. Unless he was hunting his dog in the first instance.
2002-10-25 10:37:06 AM

If this had happened in Idaho, the dog would have been one of his inbred relatives.
2002-10-25 10:38:27 AM
Stealthdozer - Birdshot could just as easily take his foot of as 00 Buck.
2002-10-25 10:38:42 AM
Not entirely related and you've probably all seen it, but here it is anyway.. The moral(s) here, keep your dog away from loaded weapons and running vehicles.. or, just don't own a dog..

Dog kills master in truck accident

ORINDA, Calif. (Reuters) - A man who stepped out of his pick-up truck to
open a gate was slowly crushed to death when his dog apparently threw
the idling vehicle into gear, trapping him against a post, police said Tesday.

They said the dog itself died in the cab of the truck, probably from
dehydration because the heater was turned up full blast.

The body of Michael Trevethan, 42, was found Monday in a rural area near
the town of Orinda, about 14 miles east of San Francisco, Orinda Police
Chief Dan Lawrence said.

``He died of traumatic asphyxiation, which is what happens when your
body is crushed,'' Lawrence said.

He said Trevethan left his Rhodesian Ridgeback alone in the cab with the
engine in neutral while he went to open a gate leading to a development

``We think that the dog placed the car into drive in his exuberance to be
with his master,'' Lawrence said.

From the cuts and bruises on Trevethan's body, police assume that he
struggled in vain to free himself, and say he may have been pinned for as
long as 15 hours before he died

of = off you get the idea.
2002-10-25 10:39:19 AM
Once my dog Cybil locked me out of the house for no good reason. This morning as I left for work I gave her strict instructions to bite..or try to bite anyone that comes to the house while I am gone. She aims to please. Then she locks me out. Crazy know it all German Shepherd.
2002-10-25 10:40:27 AM
Yeah, if it's at close range, it doesn't really matter what kind of shot you're using. This guy was very lucky he didn't lose his foot.

And, NakedApe: Now the puppy truly knows the power of the dark side.
2002-10-25 10:42:34 AM
Can somebody post the picture from Nintendo's Duck Hunt of the dog laughing at you?
2002-10-25 10:43:10 AM
Its bears who are allowed to be armed, not dogs.
2002-10-25 10:44:17 AM
Good thing he hadn't just completed a gun saftey class and was going to the bathroom.
2002-10-25 10:45:37 AM
It was probably this farking dog:

2002-10-25 10:46:50 AM
If the hunter in question had been properly trained in firearms safety by a well regulated militia...

Oh, nevermind: two hundred years later, and people are still debating a document that is elegant in its simplicity.

Guns for everyone!! Let Darwinism sort it out!! YeeHaa!!

2002-10-25 10:47:05 AM
