Did he get the expressed written consent of the NFL and the New England Patriots?

2008-01-20 10:37:27 PM
I'm pretty sure it was only implied, verbal consent.

Puddinhed: Did he get the expressed written consent of the NFL and the New England Patriots?

Well, I suppose if he didn't they'll have to cut his head off and give it to the Patriots to protect their trademark.

/For some reason I don't think that prospect would upset that tool.

2008-01-20 10:53:19 PM
Okay, that's pretty nutty.

/Go Patriots!

I've seen lots of sports team tattoos (including the free Chargers tattoos that were being given out this week), but this is just wacky.

2008-01-21 12:16:04 AM
That's retarded. Why doesn't he just walk into the locker room, toss their salads, suck their cocks, and get it over with.

And you know he would.

2008-01-21 12:32:34 AM
He is just getting the logos tattooed on the sides of his head, it's not like he is getting his head tattooed gray or getting a faceguard tattooed on his face. He can grow normal hair (if he can grow normal hair) and not have to see it anymore..

In other news, subby's headline confirms existence of UltraFa ++++NO CARRIER++++

2008-01-21 12:45:30 AM
It's a good thing teams in sports never change their logos.

2008-01-21 1:01:30 AM
So the attention whore called the news to tell them?

2008-01-21 1:01:32 AM
Wow, and I thought the people getting free Charger tattoos this week were stupid. Sports are great and all, but there are other concerns. Like holding down a decent job. Something tells me that this guy isn't pulling down the big bucks though.

2008-01-21 1:07:41 AM
Both the guy and the tattoo artist are idiots. Why would you give someone a tattoo on their head like that? They both deserve each other.

On the other hand, if he wanted to show how hardcore he was, he should have got the old Pat Patriot on his head. That was one motherfarking ugly logo.

This guy made local news last week. I thought about submitting it as I knew it'd be a sure greenlight. I didn't because I'm a Patriots fan and quite frankly didn't need another wacky ass Pats fan to bash on around here.

/kudos, Subby

I just was going through some KSK posts and saw it and thought about submitting it, but I figured "nah, it had to have been submitted a few times by now already".

2008-01-21 1:13:55 AM
Too bad it is one of hte absolute worst logos in the NFL and the Pats will probably change it soon.

Yeah, I was quite surprised to see that this isn't a repeat. It could be that he's already gotten a Fark-style snarky comeuppance at my place of employment.

I'm thinking that THAT is probably the least of the problems with this.

LOL...Give it 8-9 years when Brady is long retired and the Pats go into the inevitable 'suck' period that all NFL teams go into as they rebuild. This guy is gonna be pissed that he's got a Pat-head when they're going 2-14 in a season and he hates them.

At least he was smart enough (well, as smart as one can be for tattooing a helmet on his head) to pick a guy who already won 3 SBs and has records, and he got his number on there.

2008-01-21 1:37:03 AM
If they win it all he said he'll add the Lombardi trophy on his head. I wonder if he'll add 19* - 0 to it as well.

That's the optimistic view; Brady could also end up sucking badly when he gets into his mid-30s, get traded to the Texans, and eventually get thrown out of the league for steroids and heroin abuse. All this amid a scandal that finds him impregnating an overweight stripper. Or maybe that's just my fantasy; I dunno...

Yeah, she's a hottie in person as well. Petite brunettes are my one weakness.

I spend a good deal of my time and money (not so much the money as the time) following the Patriots and Red Sox. I enjoy following them and watching their games. I'm a fan. But what would possess someone who follows a team, good or bad, to do something like this? I have tattoos. No logos expressing my love for Brady or Beckett. Tattooed dude: you're not a part of the team. You don't know anyone on the team. If they lose, it's not the end of the world. If they win, neat but don't invest so much of your being and your identity into millionaire mercenaries who couldn't care less about you.

/then again, I doubt you could talk rationally to a man with a helmet tattooed on his head.

I hope he gets the face mask part, too.

If he was a Steelers fan, the helmet tat would have cost 50% less.

GO GIANTS!!

And he is getting the little green dot on the back of Brady's helmet tatted on his head too. Does he think he will pick the signals? LOL LOL

2008-01-21 3:00:19 AM
Oh come now.

Not even Patriots fans think that the Flying Elvis is a good logo.

"But dude, it's like a colonial dude except EXTREME!!!!!!"

shiat looks like a rejected Mitt Romney logo.

Granted, it isn't as horrible as the Tenn. Titans or Baltimore Ravens logos, but is definitly in the bottom fourth of NFL logos.

2008-01-21 3:54:44 AM
PLEASE let New England change their helmet's design and such in the next couple years...

/at least it wasn't a Lions fan....

What a farking drugged out idiot...

2008-01-21 5:25:14 AM
Why would you give someone a tattoo on their head like that?

As stupid as it is, if the guy's willing to pay, and it's not horribly racist or inappropriate, there's no real reason to turn him down.

I'm sure every tattoo artist dreams of a never-ending parade of sorority girls who want tramp stamps and crotch butterflies but these guys gotta pay rent and buy booze like anyone else.

2008-01-21 6:15:54 AM
Meh. I was expecting to see the guy get the faceguard tattooed on there, too.

2008-01-21 6:30:24 AM
Who are the Patriots and why would one get their corporate logo tattooed on their head?

Let me get this straight.

An absolute loser validates his self-esteem and self-worth by abnormally linking his pathetic life with his pro football team?

And he's from Boston?

No fhacking way.

How about a Buckeye fan?
It would start with just a stripe, but he could get a helmet sticker every time he scores a new chick. Or whatever, since he may not be scoring that much if he did this.

/Please please please someone reading this be stupid enough to do it?
