Recycled Utility:

Retired from the grid, this old pole is now utilize in different way. It's on purpose placed in a new pond at local park as gift to turtle and birds for relax. Dearborn, Michigan

This is what happens when a pole almost, but not quite, breaks (shears?)
Quite cool. Those are (very) high voltage transmission lines, the FD was really careful with this one, especially with the wind.
It was moved over to a new pole within a day without any injuries.

Grey block hides logo of store chain. Believe that should be ok.

Picture welcoming you to my husbands families village. We went there for a memorial potlatch a year ago...
There was nothing but bush there about 15 years ago, and now they have electricity, plumbing and the beginning of a small community.
