Anyone interested in Hillary's universal health care plan should read Haynes Johnson and David Broeder's The System. I can summarize: Hillary is so arrogant and unlikable, and plays so badly with others that she personally killed a relatively popular plan backed by a popular president. So, I really resent Hillary talking about universal health care. She had her shot. She had her mandate. She screwed it up.

I'm not telling you not to vote for Hillary Clinton. Just don't vote for her if you think she's going to get anything accomplished with health care.

/Not that there are any better options as far as health care reform goes.
//Sigh.

Heaven help us. Someone save us from this boring biatch. Gore had the same problem didn't he? So did Kerry. We are so much better off since we dodged those bullets aren't we.

Does anyone besides me wonder why this hatchet job is going on under the masthead of the Washington Post? It is one thing for a farker to post caricatures of someone they don't like -- what business is it of the Post to do this? Have they ever done that to a Republican?

Honestly, I don't think most voters ultimately care so much about health care as a presidential issue. I think it's a bad platform in general. I think that maybe the reason why Hillary's numbers are down is that this is the issue that is most related to her...and it's boring. I'm not saying healthcare is not an important issue, just that most voters are concerned with the economy and the war. When most voters hear that buzz word "change", I think they think of the war, not healthcare.
