Hillary: Professor Walsh
Obama: Mr. Trick
Edwards: Ted
Richardson: Balthasar, the fat demon from Season 3
Dodd: The Judge
Biden: The Mayor
Mike Gravel: The Master

Okay, I think about this stuff too much.

/submitter, duh.

2008-01-02 06:58:53 PM
Guiliani as Angelus? Angelus was MUCH smarter. Angelus could make you believe he was Angel if he had to.

2008-01-02 07:00:35 PM
I'd say Hillary is more like Glory...

2008-01-02 07:02:25 PM
coffee fiend, except hillary never turns into a likeable person.

2008-01-02 07:22:37 PM
Nah, Hillary--stern, obnoxious, resolutely certain of her rightousness, the ends always justifying the means...Maggie Walsh personified.

2008-01-02 07:23:38 PM
Hillary is Darla
Kucinich is Clem, 'nuff said.
Edwards... gotta agree with Bufu on this one- Ted.
Obama... Again agreeing with Bufu, Mister Trick.
Biden... Ethan Rayne
Richardson... Spike- former compadre of Angelus (which would be Bill Clinton)
Gravel... Drusilla.

2008-01-02 07:29:38 PM
Whoa, Clem is likable, dude!

And, Darla is hot!

2008-01-02 07:32:03 PM
Bufu: Whoa, Clem is likable, dude!

yeah, but he's got the big ears, and he IS a demon.

Ron Paul = The Gentlemen: tall, gaunt, ready to take a scalpel to government, and surrounded by galloping lunatics in straightjackets

2008-01-02 07:35:44 PM
kronicfeld: Ron Paul = The Gentlemen: tall, gaunt, ready to take a scalpel to government, and surrounded by galloping lunatics in straightjackets

perfect. just perfect.

2008-01-02 07:51:07 PM
kronicfeld: Ron Paul = The Gentlemen: tall, gaunt, ready to take a scalpel to government, and surrounded by galloping lunatics in straightjackets

*golf-clap*

SilentStrider: Richardson... Spike- former compadre of Angelus (which would be Bill Clinton)

Okay, Slick Willie as Angelus works waaaaaaay better.

2008-01-02 07:51:21 PM
kronicfeld: Ron Paul = The Gentlemen: tall, gaunt, ready to take a scalpel to government, and surrounded by galloping lunatics in straightjackets

Did you just out yourself as a Buffy fan?

2008-01-02 07:52:20 PM
Eddie_Dean_NY: Okay, Slick Willie as Angelus works waaaaaaay better.

Not a chance in hell. Angelus is charming, smart, sexy, and evil. Bill just seems like a hand puppet these days.

2008-01-02 07:55:13 PM
cmp_3: Not a chance in hell. Angelus is charming, smart, sexy, and evil. Bill just seems like a hand puppet these days.

Just like Angel was when he had a soul.

Or, more literally, when he had the issues with the kids tv show.

2008-01-02 08:11:32 PM
cmp_3: Bill just seems like a hand puppet these days.

Think of Bill in his glory Darla years. Powerful man out in the spotlight, complete sap for an evil, manipulative biatch behind the scenes.

2008-01-02 08:14:13 PM
Green? You're shiatting me. Outed as a Buffy fan, indeed.

2008-01-02 08:20:15 PM
cmp_3: Did you just out yourself as a Buffy fan?

Maybe.

2008-01-02 08:20:49 PM
kronicfeld: Ron Paul = The Gentlemen: tall, gaunt, ready to take a scalpel to government, and surrounded by galloping lunatics in straightjackets

And best when silenced.

2008-01-02 08:24:00 PM
Okay, that's strange. Kind of funny, but I didn't watch the show enough.

2008-01-02 08:27:24 PM
Asa Phelps: Angelus could make you believe he was Angel if he had to.

And Giulianni had a lot of evangelicals fooled into thinking that he was a pious Christian for a while.

2008-01-02 08:36:40 PM
I forgot...Kucinich as Gnarl, in Season 7.

Separated at birth.

2008-01-02 08:40:45 PM
I don't see Hillary as any Buffy villain, really.

But, if I were to switch geek shows:

Ruthless, deceptive, vicious, hungry for power and demanding to be worshipped?

Oh yeah. She's Goa'uld.

Bufu: I forgot...Kucinich as Gnarl, in Season 7.

Separated at birth.

Nah--Kucinich is Gachnar, for obvious reasons.

2008-01-02 08:42:47 PM
She's Professor Walsh, BravadoGt, totally...top-down oriented, government-mandated, cold, calculating, and did I mention cold?

2008-01-02 08:44:49 PM
You mean, awfulperson, a widdle, widdle demon, who really scares no one?

2008-01-02 08:45:47 PM
Bufu: Edwards: Ted

Beg to differ. Edwards is the mayor--can DEFINITELY see him sitting in his office eating a big box of spiders, biding his time until he can become a full-fledged demon.

2008-01-02 08:50:41 PM
Lieberman was totally Clem, but I forget if he's running this year or not.

/don't know
/don't really give a shiat

2008-01-02 08:52:18 PM
awfulperson, but the Mayor is actually charming, and Edwards is naught but smarm. But I see your point.

Ted, on the other hand, was an utter fraud, making his faux charm all the more shocking.

The Mayor really was, when not majorally demonic, charming, and, especially concerning Faith, genuinely caring.

I don't think Edwards cares about anything other than his ambition.

Ooh, and there's the wife thing.

Ouch.

2008-01-02 08:53:01 PM
Bufu: She's Professor Walsh, BravadoGt, totally...top-down oriented, government-mandated, cold, calculating, and did I mention cold?

Don't get me wrong: I see what you are talking about. But I still think she's not a good match. I saw Walsh as "by the book," only her book wasn't "How to get what you want for you." That is, I didn't see her as the narcissist Hillary is. She was trying to create something, something bigger than herself, and not simply motivated by the acquisition of power for her own personal satisfaction. Walsh recognized herself as a cog in a larger machine, but Hillary...what's that quote from Louis XIV? "L'etat, c'est moi."

2008-01-02 08:53:24 PM
Holy crap, brigid, you're totally right about Lieberman and Clem!

2008-01-02 08:58:15 PM
Mitt is the Mayor.

2008-01-02 09:03:10 PM
Well, if we're Buffy-izing politics...

Perino is Harmony.

2008-01-02 09:03:35 PM
Yeah, Mitt is definitely the Mayor.

And I make no apologies for Balthasar as Bill Richardson.

2008-01-02 09:03:58 PM
Also, Fred Thompson is The Master.

Not because he's big and powerful, but he's too lazy to really leave his room.

2008-01-02 09:05:51 PM
Okay, if no one else will do it:

Rove-Cheney-Bush = Wolf-Ram-Hart

2008-01-02 09:05:58 PM
I'd say Kusinich is Jonathan.

A loser that wishes he was perfect and awesome. You just want to hug him because you know he's never going to succeed.

2008-01-02 09:06:04 PM
Well, if we're expanding this universe, Al Gore is Ken in "Anne".

Hell, he even looks and sounds like him!

2008-01-02 09:07:42 PM
Oprah=Jasmine.

Just sayin'.

2008-01-02 09:10:41 PM
Coulter = Jasmine.

2008-01-02 09:11:11 PM
Lackofname: Well, if we're Buffy-izing politics...

Perino is Harmony.

That girl who played Harmony is doing the tour of the TV undead. She was just on "Reaper" as a soul escaped from hell, and on "Supernatural," as, yes-another vampire.

/looks like she has had some work done too. And it didn't take.

2008-01-02 09:15:38 PM
Okay, Bufu. Your Jasmine works much better.

I can't think of an appropriate Coulter.

Glory?

2008-01-02 09:17:30 PM
Howard Dean = Doyle.
Tom DeLay = Lindsey?

2008-01-02 09:18:03 PM
Sunday=Susan Estrich

Drusilla=Arianna Huffington

2008-01-02 09:20:48 PM
Eve = Catherine Harris

2008-01-02 09:25:42 PM
Barney=Rahm Emanuel.

Bob Shrum=Holland Manners, but not as effective.

I'm recalling Balthazar.

Balthazar=Ted Kennedy.

Trying to come with someone for Spike, but just not able...

The press=The Bringers.

2008-01-02 09:39:29 PM
Bufu: Trying to come with someone for Spike, but just not able...

i like him as Richardson personally, but YMMV.

2008-01-02 09:41:58 PM
McCain = Faith. McCain used to be on the side of good, and at least somewhat interesting. Then he switched sides, and now is just drifting off into obscurity and very thin characterization.

Warren = Giuliani. One dimensional, a little shrill.

Andrew = Gravel. Teehee.

Gore = Adam. C'mon, he's a creation. While high minded, he's still inhuman.

Bill Clinton = Sweet. Although these days, he's less so.

Coulter = The praying Mantis chick. C'mon. It just fits.

2008-01-02 09:54:11 PM
O'Reily = Principle Snyder. Let's face it, I want to see this guy get eaten by hyenas.

2008-01-02 10:03:38 PM
Bufu: Trying to come with someone for Spike, but just not able...

Hillary, if only for the fake accent depending on the role.

2008-01-02 10:08:24 PM
mdfitzsimmons She's come too faaaar to be tahhhred...and Ahm jest a frend of Xander's, here...

Very funny!

Wrong principal, Lackofname.
