FTFA: There are a number of reasons behind Rudy Giuliani's sinking political fortunes, but one person who may bear considerable responsibility for them is Giuliani's senior foreign policy adviser, Norman Podhoretz.

Unfit? Maybe. One reason behind his sinking fortunes? Most likely. Headline fails.

I'm less concerned about Poddy's attempts to land Jackie O ( and seriously, you ever see pics of Ms. Bouvier-Kennedy-Onasis in her prime? Who WOULDN'T at least try?) and more concerned that Young Norman is one of the Chief architects of both the PNAC and the war in Iraq..

fark Norman Podhoretz and fark Giuliani. They're both ghouls that thrive on the fears of the public about terrorism and both shamelessly exploit tragedies to promote their bigoted and undemocratic agendas in the middle east.

That all is true, but this article by Craig Unger is just more sexploitation/innuendo nonsense at the expense of the Kennedy's. It's tiring.

Having the hots for Jackie-O is quite possibly the most redeeming thing about Podhoretz.

And it has nothing to do with Captain 9/11. His unfit status is entirely his own doing. Though being advised by Podhoretz doesn't help.
