Think Secret is the site for Apple rumors and it's shutting down.

Why is that difficult to understand? Sometimes the English language looks or sounds funny, but that is 100% grammatically correct.

But wouldn't the Think Secret need to be in quotes? It is, after all, the title of the website.

/not a grammar nazi
//not even sure if that rule applies in this situation.

Didn't this happen a week or so ago? Green lights must be slow over the holidays.

No, because it's a headline.

I thought it was last week as well. As such, I must contribute a "THIS" to the previous comment.

Unless iTunes is still running, in which case it'll cancel the shutdown process.

To me anyway, Apple is a bizarre company in that they seem to actively discourage interest in their products.

If we revisit the 1984 commercial, we can now see that Apple represents Big Brother.

This happened a week ago and from reports Think Secret, not Apple, got the better end of the settlement.

How did you glean that drjekel_mrhyde was thinking "HOORAY FOR MICROSOFT! THEY'VE FOUND ANOTHER WAY TO MAKE MONEY BY FORCING US TO WATCH COMMERCIALS ON DOWNLOADED CONTENT!!!!!" with only two words in his post? I think I may be going out on a limb here, but I think he's right. You so can't stand the idea of your beloved Apple looking like the bad guy that you feel inclined to bring up something that has absolutely no relevance in this discussion and then act all butt-hurt when someones calls you on it.

Cameron_Talley: This happened a week ago and from reports Think Secret, not Apple, got the better end of the settlement.

The settlement was confidential so nobody knows who got what.

What we do know is
a) Apple sued Think Secret on the premise that bloggers aren't journalists and can be compelled to reveal sources by a corporation and
b) Think Secret is shut down as a result

Think Secret is on its way to destruction. They have no chance to survive make their time.
