the administration will ask the Legislature to authorize the release of certain non-serious, nonviolent, non-sex offenders who are in the final 20 months of their terms.

Good.

if thats truly the case, then i'd have no problem with it.

odds are its just a lot of potheads that'd get released.

SilentStrider: odds are its just a lot of potheads that'd get released

But do you not understand what will happen if we let them go? It will be a great Cheetos holocaust, no cheesey poof will go untouched, stores will be cleaned out, you have to think of the consequences of letting non-violent, non-serious, non-sex offenders out of prison. They could actually go back to contributing to society!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

ANYTHING BUT THAT

I honestly like this man the more and more that he acts. He's certainly better than Gray Davis, and may just be what we need.

Most were likely in jail for something that shouldn't have been the governments business to begin with. Plus the stupid three strikes law forces judges to do what they normally wouldn't.

Stop whining! I'm a cop, you idiot! I hope you left a lot of room in your stomach, because I'm going to ram my fist into it!

2007-12-21 9:30:15 PM
Sounds good to me.

Now let's do this with every prison.

And stop putting people in there for drugs and other nonsense.

Seriously.

Damn.

Lock em up! But nooo we don't wanna pay taxes to do that!

My comment will have nothing, in the slightest, to do with the land of fruits and nuts. Because really, Cali is just so batshiat crazy who cares anymore.

I want to know, why the hell is there a 'sacbee' tag. I've never heard of this website. Is it special? Did it pay hefty promo fees?

I think you're on to something. I mean "Some guy" has *way* more links than sacbee.

/it's not trollbait if I'm actually this stupid, right?

I don't live in Cali, so I'm not familiar with what this guy does that doesn't make the national news.

However, what does make the news seems pretty good. Agree with it or not, he took on the teachers union which takes serious balls. He's (according to a poster above, as the article is down) trying to get early release for non-violent, non-serious, non-sex offenders. And I've read articles praising his ability to work across party lines.

He's fun to mock bc he's AHNOLD, but he seems like a decent governor.

Considering that Mexicans make up the majority of the prison population, Id say they already took it back and pooped on it.

US has far more incarcerated people by percentage than other similarly developed countries. So there can be no question but htat this is a good thing.

And in regards to other threads where yahoos state that socialized countries are at the bottom of the international economic scale, I offer, off the top of my head, Spain, France, Norway, Sweden, & Canada.
