Hello my name is Aailim Muhammed Salam Ruxpin do you want to hear a story motherfarker? Once their was a prophet named Mohammed that loved and respected all creatures so much he once cut off the sleeve of his own robe so as not to rouse his sleeping teddy bear, Jumblesnacks. To this day many people and teddy bears for that matter, change their name to Mohammed upon their religious conversion.

Ahh! Alright, which one of you clowns threw that rock? Let me guess, was it a guy named Mohammed? I thought so. Geez, slow crowd.

brap:

I'm sorry, but it's been done, and funnier

As I said yesterday, this is a very Maddox blog entry, so it's funny yet highly offensive to a segment of the population and, just like Maddox articles, there are nuggets of truth buried there (last two paragraphs, mostly)

Mohammed the Stuffed Pig: Plush Be Upon Him

[image from aycu07.webshots.com too old to be available]

Following the news that in the highly progressive tyrannical genocidal regime of Sudan, a British teacher has been charged with blasphemy for allowing kids in her class to name a teddy bear Mohammed, it's pretty clear that Sudan is not happy with the idea of a Teddy Bear named Mohammed. That makes sense since there are no bears in the Quran, there are pigs though and so I generously give the people of Sudan their prophet in plush pig form.

That's right, it's Mohammed the Stuffed Pig PBUH (Plush Be Upon Him), a respectful tribute to Islam's greatest homicidal fake prophet. In many ways Prophet Mohammed Stuffed Pig Edition is a major improvement on the real thing.

While he is made out of plush and will be adored by children, he won't respond by trying to marry your 6 year old daughters because "Allah Told Him To". This makes him child-friendly, unlike the real Mohammed, who was the whole other kind of "Child Friendly" that you don't want around your kids.

Mohammed the Stuffed Pig may cost an arm and a leg but he won't try to chop off your arms and legs because you're all filthy infidels, unlike the real Mohammed. Also he won't raid and rob you, steal your goats or any of the other fun activities the real Mohammed was noted for.

It seems as if Muslims get so obsessively outraged over every imagined slight to their crazy made up religion because they haven't had enough people offending them on a regular basis. Being regularly offended requires either going murderously insane or developing a thick skin. Muslims have been making a good go at the former but aren't anywhere near the latter.

Perhaps offending them more on a regular basis will push them one way or another, either into a state of weary tolerance where the imagined sight of their diety's name in the swirls of a fast food's chain ice cream or a cartoon of their bearded prophet no longer sends them scrambling madly for their swords and detonators or into outright insanity in which Muslims wander the streets like zombie mobs roaring at everyone and trying to eat them alive. Either one would be a vast improvement over today.

Mr. Coffee Nerves: Did anyone ever explain why it's ok to name a PERSON Muhammad, but not a teddy bear?

Because a Teddy Bear reflects badly on Mohammed, while no one named Mohammed never did anything wrong ever before in order to bring shame to that name

Or is it time for the ones who always post something like, "Yea but Christians are just as bad. Christians are evil. Bla bla bla."
Or perhaps its time for the more radical Farkers to post how this is all some grand Zionist conspiracy to destroy Islam and steal more Muslim land.m (you know, the dirty Jews have taken so much of it already)

FTFA: The protesters streamed out of mosques after Friday sermons, as pickup trucks with loudspeakers blared messages

The religion of peace® strikes again. The sane world needs to start employing snipers in these countries and just kill all religious leaders.

These warlords, or whatever they call themselves, think they're all bad ass cause they can kill unarmed civilians. I would love to see a top of the line group of marines/green berets/seals/{insert favorite badass military unit here} go in and raise hell and kill a bunch of the bad people there.

Let them wake up in the middle of the night with a knife to their balls and a gun to their head. And torture them. Let them die in horrible pain. I'm not a fan of torture as an interrogation technique but as a tool for fear it would work wonders. And these people need to feel fear in massive quantities.

But that's just me being angry at idiocy.

ALL religion is whacked in the head and evil. The world would be better off without any of that superstitious crap.

Having said that... At the moment there is ONE religion that is way more whacked in the head than all the rest of them combined. Judaism and Christianity just can't compete with the levels of crazy we are getting from Islam these days.

Boojum2k: Right, because none of what those posters said has ever happened on Fark. . .

I would imagine everything under the sun has been said on Fark. Can we at least wait until people actually make those arguments before we attack them? Doesn't it seem a little silly to argue with someone who doesn't exist yet?

It seems like a lot of people's reaction to stories like this is not to be outraged over the insanity of wanting to execute someone over naming a farking toy Mohammed, but to be outraged over the hypothetical arguments put forth by these caricatures they've invented of their political "enemies". The anger is so misdirected.

I guess the UK should have apologized for being insensitive enough to have one of its citizens inadvertently mock a religion that plagiarizes the stupidest parts of Christianity and Judaism and was invented by a mentally unstable prophet (of the same name as the bear) during an epileptic seizure.

I'm sure if I wait long enough, someone in this thread will explain to me how this is the West's fault, or some similar cowardly arrogant cop-out. We wouldn't want to offend a group of people who would gladly see the civilized world reduced to ashes. Plus if it's our fault we don't have to do anything about it, we can just sit around and feel guilty.

Good thing she didn't get raped, then she would be in real trouble. (pop)

And in a country where offending someone is now inexplicably the worst crime one can commit, and where the offended get to decide what is offensive after the fact, this could be the us in a few years.

Why is offending someone suddenly the most vile crime someone can commit anymore? WTF?

Nice effort.
A bit calm and logical, but a good finish. A solid landing.
I give an overall score of 8.27

sigdiamond2000 Can we at least wait until people actually make those arguments before we attack them?

Why wait?
They invade every thread that hints in any way that somehow Islam is to blame for anything. Why allow them first strike? Why not point out the folly of their argument before they post their inevitable blather?

sigdiamond2000: Can we at least wait until people actually make those arguments before we attack them?

It is criticism of a well documented point-of-view, not of imaginary arguments in the future. It needn't be said on Fark to be an accepted position (thank God).

I'm sure if you wait long enough, someone on this thread will blame it on the Freemasons. What's your farking point? That there are a lot of stupid people in the world? SHOCKING!

My point is this: Look at this thread so far. Where is the outrage directed? Certainly not at the Islamic lunatics who are calling for her death. It's directed at those who are perceived to be "soft" on Islam.

Doesn't that seem misdirected?

The teacher's defense is indeed to point out that to kids, teddy bears are anthropomorphized, and so it's like naming a person.

If I recall correctly, the United States once had a ban on immigration from the Barbary States. Granted, Sudan lies just southeast of that former geopolitical area, but maybe the kind of crazy stupid that our forefathers once tried to keep out of this country extends far beyond into most of north Africa.

You know, I'm about the least prejudiced person you'll ever meet. But I'm finding myself becoming more and more prejudiced against Muslims every day. It.s not because of this one incident, mind you; there are idiot extremists in every culture. It's because other facets of the Islamic community haven't spoken out (or haven't spoken out strongly enough) against what is happening in Sudan and elsewhere (like the woman who was lashed for riding in a car with a man not her husband in Saudi Arabia).

Where are these people? Why aren't they speaking up, speaking out against their Islamic bretheren for things like this? I have to conclude that through their silence they tacitly agree with and approve of these extremist actions. And it is because of that that I grow more fearful of and more prejudiced toward them every day.
