(ABC News)   Even though she claimed all her health-plan task-force papers were already released, Hillary took a second look and realized she just won't have time for it until after the election   (abcnews.go.com) divider line

I am SHOCKED that someone with the moral clarity and honesty of the Clintons could be involved in something like this.

Another dishonest and corrupt politician running for president. Shocking, isn't it?

Why isn't Bill Clinton claiming executive privilege? It's worked for his successor in every instance.

To be fair, these aren't really her papers. These are records from Diane Blair, a friend who worked on her husband's campaign.

And what cloak-and-dagger secrets do these records contain? Well, the article says they're entirely a set of interviews with 126 campaign aides conducted by Blair. Woooooooooow. Hot stuff.

Sheesh.

I mean, I wouldn't really doubt that there's some dirt being hidden somewhere on the Clintons, but I seriously doubt this is part of it.

But hell, these could be friggin' parking tickets and the right would still take the opportunity to frame it as some sort of byzantine conspiracy involving the Chinese, UN black helicopters, space aliens, and possibly Ward Churchill.

It's not like they need an excuse...

"It's not a conspiracy," Dillard told ABC News. No representative of the Clintons has been in touch with the Library, he said. "No, absolutely not. No political campaign has been in touch with us. Nor have any individuals been in touch with us asking us to do anything different from what we would normally do."

Well let's see... the Hilary health care task force was way back in 1993 where she and a bunch special interests groups got together in a secret little room and decided how to craft a health care policy guaranteeing universal health care... and also just happened to put a mountain of money into the pockets of some of her Husbands biggest contributers...

Skip ahead 8 years later and Dick Cheney and a bunch of special interest groups gather together in a secret little room and decide to craft an energy policy... That just happens to put a mountain of money into the pockets of top republican contributers.

Republicans take away our rights and get us into endless wars and tell us it's for our own good... Democrats take away our rights and get us into endless wars then pretend they didn't then attack anyone who points out their hypocracy.

Which group is more honest? At least republicans tell you upfront they're for rich special interests. Democrats pretend to be for the people yet never seem to be able to pull themselves away from corporate masters to get anything done on behalf of the people.

Honest what is the difference between this: Link (new window) and this: Link (new window)

Sames names different candidate different party.

Republican voters = brainless kool aid drinking sheep
Democrat voter = more brainless kool aid drinking sheep

Mordant: Vote Republican in 2008 and support honesty and advance planning.

Given that it's possibly going to be Clinton vs. Giuliani, wouldn't telling us to vote republican be a direction to vote for Clinton?

//Could not resist the low-hanging fruit there.

Leave Hillary alone, she's just a girl.

/can't believe her campaign already went with that response

I didn't read this thread but then again, I don't need to. Every Political thread is like this anymore.

A Republican lies/cheats/steals...

TFers: "We must end this corruption. BushCo, Iraq, Chimpy McFlight."

A Democrat lies/cheats/steals...

TFers: "Every politician lies. You all must be really scared of x. But Bushco, Iraq, Chimpy McFlight. Quit Trolling."
