My god, I got stupider just listen to that.

2007-08-25 3:21:54 PM
I'm sure she makes up for being amazingly stupid in other ways.

2007-08-25 3:22:30 PM
If there was ever a good time to use the "wait...what?" line, this is definitely it.

2007-08-25 3:29:19 PM
She's an embarrassment to teen beauty queens everywhere.

2007-08-25 3:31:59 PM
I think my favorite part of that wasn't the stumbling or the bizarre references to South Africa (WTF?) but the vapid, artificial smile she had plastered on her face the entire time, some grotesque parody of what it means to be happy.

2007-08-25 3:32:52 PM
I would have just said "Because they're most likely looking at the wrong map. Most of those things like countries and continents are labeled."

2007-08-25 3:33:27 PM
How about because people spend too much time trying to impose their politics on schools and kids to the point where adminstrators, teachers, school boards and parents are more worried about evolution in the books, sex ed in the classrooms, "zero tolerance" discipline policies, focusing on "self esteem" and not having the stomach to hold back kids that fail, than they are about teaching kids basic skills like math, grammar and {gasp} geography.

Oh, and that girl is as dumb as a box of hair. Hawt, but stupid.

Not a bad answer for a blond.

r-u-n-n o-f-t: Not a bad answer for a blond.

Don't blame the blond, blame the hairspray.

Besides, I think she's a brunette. Look at the eyebrows.

2007-08-25 3:54:16 PM
I couldn't get through 15 seconds of that.

2007-08-25 4:08:52 PM
This is why I like South Korean women. They're five times hotter and at least a hundred times more intelligent.

2007-08-25 4:11:58 PM
That was total gibberish. Someone cue up the "I'll just be a stripper" pic.

2007-08-25 4:16:10 PM
wait a minute ... there's a "south" carolina ?

2007-08-25 4:18:50 PM
Judging from that answer, she better hurry up and become some guy's trophy wife, because it's obvious that she won't survive on her wits.

1/5 of Americans can't locate the US on a map? That is a load of shiat. That would be about 60 million Americans.

If some random guy came up to me and asked me to locate USA on a map, I would point to China and tell him to suck my dick.

2007-08-25 4:23:43 PM
What the hell did she even say? That wasn't even a crummy answer that someone who doesn't know what they are talking would use. It's below that.

2007-08-25 4:24:30 PM
OH MY GAWD YOU GUYS THAT QUESTION WAS LIKE SO TOTALLY UNFAIR I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY!

...why do we encourage this crap? Seriously, girls everywhere aspire to be exactly what she is, and that bothers the hell out of me. Not just in an abstract social awareness way, but also because it's getting increasingly difficult to find girls to associate with who are both attractive AND at least half-bright.

Stunn: 1/5 of Americans can't locate the US on a map? That is a load of shiat.

Also, this. There's no way.

2007-08-25 4:24:58 PM
She did have a point though, U.S. Americans which don't have a map wouldn't be able to locate anything on a map, which they didn't have.

2007-08-25 4:26:15 PM
"Math is hard!"

2007-08-25 4:27:23 PM
OMG.

That proves 2 things.

1:Blonds are dumb
2:Kids today are dumb

2007-08-25 4:37:17 PM
She seemed frightened even before she got the question, maybe she just panicked... a whole lot.

2007-08-25 4:50:20 PM
some swedish girl: She seemed frightened even before she got the question, maybe she just panicked... a whole lot.

I think you're giving her way too much credit. I think it went something more like this:

Ditzthought: OMG I couldn't find the US on a map if I tried either, so I better come up with something that sounds like I pay attention to the world outside pageants.

Ditzspeak: stammer stammer stammer SOUTH AFRICA stammer stammer UNITED STATES stammer IRAQ stammer EDUCATION stammer stammer SOUTH AFRICA UNITED STATES stammer stammer stammer stammer IRAQ!

Ditzthought: I think it worked.

South Carolina - 'nuff said?
Where McD's rolled out the picture cash registers first because people couldn't read or calculate. Where a school district chose to rebuild the gym before replacing textbooks after Hugo hit - and hadn't replaced the textbooks five years later. Where I owned a house next door to the sheriff - when he was selling the old mansion I went in to see if I wanted to buy it. Incredible library - all ruined due to being left exposed to the elements with the windows always open in the heat and high humidity. 1000's of first editions. His comment? "Yep - da people whose built dis place was inta readin' and stuff like that". I went home to have a long cry.
Where when my first was born the first words out of my wife's mouth were "Can we move from here now so the kid can get an education?" (We lived in a 'burb of Charleston, SC). Where my wife went to a local historical society meeting one time and they were making a great big deal on how it was the only plantation with complete records - and when asked why only this one had the records survive the reply was that the books went north with one of the sons - where people treated books with respect so they survived.

2007-08-25 5:02:56 PM
I understood her just fine.

If South Africa did more to educate the Iraq, more US Americans would have maps and be able to find the US on it.

2007-08-25 5:03:34 PM
So much fun listening to the long stall at the beginning...

So painful listening the rest of the answer

2007-08-25 5:07:04 PM
Our judges say... that's all right, they roll big joints too!

2007-08-25 5:07:29 PM
BKITU: Ditzspeak: stammer stammer stammer SOUTH AFRICA stammer stammer UNITED STATES stammer IRAQ stammer EDUCATION stammer stammer SOUTH AFRICA UNITED STATES stammer stammer stammer stammer IRAQ!

Haha, yeah you're right. I'll just sleep better thinking that she's not that stupid. She's too pretty for me to call her an idiot. Although she clearly is.

2007-08-25 5:23:48 PM
reading it hurts my brain:

I personally believe the U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some...people out there in our nation don't have maps, and, uh, I believe that our education like such as South Africa and, uh, the Iraq everywhere like, such as and...I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., err, uh, South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future for our...

wow. just wow.

2007-08-25 5:39:05 PM
Well, in her defense, she's just talking about the US Americans, and not the American Americans in the United States.

ouch. that was really, really painful. i'm no genius, but i know enough decent english to b.s. an answer if i don't know it. but then again, i won't be entering a beauty pageant any time soon. or ever.

AC Slater trying to keep a straight face at the end was the best part of the whole clip.

2007-08-25 6:06:05 PM
That little slice of stupid was worth the $5. She forgot Poland btw.

2007-08-25 6:25:04 PM
Stunn: 1/5 of Americans can't locate the US on a map? That is a load of shiat

Well.. 20% of Americans are under the age of 14...

2007-08-25 6:34:21 PM
A product of government schools.

2007-08-25 6:38:34 PM
Unright: Stunn: 1/5 of Americans can't locate the US on a map? That is a load of shiat

Well.. 20% of Americans are under the age of 14...

I came here to say that.
Also, you can figure in the ones suffering any of various mental illnesses and easily get one fifth.

//I wish I had a fifth
////Oh, I do! GTG!

2007-08-25 6:43:16 PM
Well, our population is big enough to allow for just this sort of sub-speciation and I expected this sort of thing eventually from seed privileged only by success in the modern world finding purchase all those trophy-wombs. Seems it's happened rather more quickly than I'd feared.

Old and busted: Neanderthal
New hotness: Zoolanderthal

2007-08-25 6:45:48 PM
And this isn't even the only trainwreck answer. North Carolina got asked, I believe, about a challenge she managed to overcome, and she hops in with This One Time We Were Snowboarding.

2007-08-25 6:47:16 PM
Don't they get the questions in advance?

If that's true, this is even more shameful than it appears.

2007-08-25 6:49:11 PM
Gosling:

she hops in with This One Time We Were Snowboarding.

In her defense, she heard there was a movie mogul on the judges panel.

2007-08-25 6:55:34 PM
Unright:

Well.. 20% of Americans are under the age of 14...

I wouldn't be too shocked if that was one of the 4/5ths who can find it on a map.

2007-08-25 7:00:03 PM
I wonder if she can put on her lipstick without using her hands.

2007-08-25 7:33:35 PM
miss bliss: ouch. that was really, really painful. i'm no genius, but i know enough decent english to b.s. an answer if i don't know it. but then again, i won't be entering a beauty pageant any time soon. or ever.

Wow.. you're cute :)

All she had to do when she was asked that question was step away from the microphone and point at her big stupid head.

2007-08-25 7:46:31 PM
Y'all are slipping. Not one "hit it" comment (unless I'm as blind as she is dumb).

I'd hit it - it might get smarter that way.

Brettster808: I wonder if she can put on her lipstick without using her hands.

Assume that I just posted an "I saw what you did there" picture.

2007-08-25 7:47:46 PM
what's the problem?? at least this way she won't do things like talk back, or have an opinion of her own...

2007-08-25 7:48:17 PM
My boyfriend just walked in and asked why I was attempting to strangle my moniter.

2007-08-25 7:50:19 PM
