The Europeans have taken the lead in dealing with Iran, which has not had diplomatic relations with Washington since 1979. They want Iran to suspend uranium enrichment as a precondition for negotiations. This has been rejected. The Iranians say that the last time they agreed to a voluntary suspension, a three-week suspension ended up lasting two and a half years.

Remember, it's the Iranians that are untrustworthy.

In all fairness, it takes dramatically fewer centrifuges to create nuclear weapons than it does to make effective nuclear power. This is a big deal, but not necessarily as big a deal as some might have you believe.

/Intelligence: both kinds are a good thing. Never let one get too far ahead of the other.

Suicide bombing is a Sunni tactic.

Every 9/11 bomber was a Sunni: 15 supplied by our allies the Saudis 3 supplied by our allies the Egyptions and 1 from Yemen. Every suicide bombing carried out in Iraq has been carried out by the Sunna. But let's ignore those inconvient facts and go with this one: the IAEA has consistently reported that their is no evidence of Iran trying to build a nuclear weapon, this despite having the most intrusive inspections protocol in the history of the NPT>
