The old Monty Python ladies applaud the police's actions.

My name is Dominic Montoya, you killed my brother, prepare to die.

2002-09-06 03:05:26 AM
That is pretty farking funny, Lordargent

Guess his prayers didn't get answered.
2002-09-06 03:06:01 AM
Obviously victim-precipitated homicide, suicide-by-cop. The poor kid knew the cop would smoke him. RIP.
2002-09-06 03:09:06 AM
I guess life must really suck when you're possessed by demons.
2002-09-06 03:09:56 AM
Better title would have been dumbass.

Sad story, but aim a gun at a cop, ask him to evaluate in a 10th of a second if it is real, if he will go home after shift, or if it is a fake....and dont expect to get shot?

Monty Python is such an inferior comedy even "special" children rarely laugh at their idiocy.

What wonderful news!! One less future murderer/robber/rapist!!! Great job, cops!
2002-09-06 03:17:28 AM
The "poor kid" isn't the one that I feel sorry for. How about that cop that had to waste him?
2002-09-06 03:17:29 AM

Just re-read the article, and it has an advert asking "Why are these parents smiling?"

I can only guess because there possessed son has been ventilated!
2002-09-06 03:22:11 AM
Peepslayer, hmmm, interesting handle. How didst thou come about with yon title?

As for the kid...rule number one: never hold a weapon unless you have every intention of using it. You won't always get a second chance.
2002-09-06 03:22:17 AM
one more demon-possessed lowlife scumbag off the streets. just another day in the life of the boys in blue.
2002-09-06 03:22:44 AM
I suppose the media needs to cover the subject more.

Don't hold up anything resembling a gun to the police when in a hostile situation.

Perhaps there should be a PAX movie made?

This is Darwin. Plain and simple.
2002-09-06 03:23:05 AM
You are an heartless jerk, I mean sure the kid shouldn't have done what he did, but you have to assume that at 14 years old his judgment must have been pretty farked up do that. Kids don't always think before they do things, theres many things I've done that I look back at and wonder why I'm still alive. I do understand that the cop had to do what he felt was necessary to protect himself & others at the time. But this is really sad, I mean 14 years old is pretty damn young. Poor kid.... his life must have been pretty farked up.
2002-09-06 03:27:09 AM

The kid pulled a gun on the cops. How were they to know what kind it was?

14 is old enough to know what's going on in the world.
2002-09-06 03:28:13 AM
and I agree, his life must have been pretty sad to resort to this ploy for attention.
2002-09-06 03:36:06 AM
I am callous and have little sympathy for him.
2002-09-06 03:36:21 AM
I agree also, but there are 14 yr olds joining gangs everyday... not saying that this one was but he was old enough to know better than to be out with a gun and threatening ppl... It may not have have been a real gun but I would bet most ppl would have done the same thing as the cop...
2002-09-06 03:37:39 AM
Sweater Girl
You obviously missed the part of my post where I said "I do understand that the cop had to do what he felt was necessary to protect himself & others." I never questioned the police officers judgment, I just think that people can be pretty cold sometimes. Yes the kid was wrong and used horrible judgment, but it doesn't mean that everyone on here has to bash him, or call him a dumbass. I'm sure he suffered plenty in his life, without also needing to be mocked in death by people like you.
2002-09-06 03:38:26 AM
Maybe saying you are possessed by the devil and go pulling BB guns on people is a sign of a serious emotional problems, and not a plea for attention. Oh, well, one less 14 year old.

And that Princess Bride reference would get my vote if it were enabled.
2002-09-06 03:43:07 AM
I just don't understand you people who feel its necessary to mock someone in death. If their dead then they've payed their debt to society no matter what they did. I can't stand people who treat death as such a non-chalant thing. I'm sure this kid had a family, a mother, father, brothers, sisters. Think about them for a moment, think about if this was someone you loved, he may have had issues but I'm sure he was loved nonetheless. Or maybe not, maybe he wasn't loved enough. Either way, I just feel that it is very weak & ignorant to insult someone once they have died, its pointless.
2002-09-06 03:43:34 AM
I've never said this, but it needs to be said.

You're a dumbass.

Monty Python as "inferior humor"? Bring on your "superior" version. Otherwise, shut the hell up.
2002-09-06 03:43:37 AM
kolacky is right. this kid knew exactly what was going to happen. perhaps he was a tad religious and felt suicide would send him to hell so he wanted someone else to kill him instead. i dont know, but i think the cop was much more the victim here. the rest of his life he's going to remember that he killed a 14 year old kid with a bb gun.
2002-09-06 03:44:49 AM
PolloDiablo - At the risk of sounding like a cold, heartless bastard...

If I ever die in such a stupid manner, then I hope people mock me. I'll deserve it.

But on that note, I suggest you take a look here.
2002-09-06 03:46:01 AM
i agree with hurtcow, funny how the more intelligent people tend to love monty python. "even 'special' people rarely laugh" well of course not, they dont understand it.
2002-09-06 03:46:58 AM
Doesn't matter how old the kid is (up to a certain point, anyways...), a gun is still a gun, and guns kill.

The officer that shot the kid must be going through hell right now, because its almost guaranteed no matter the circumstances you'll have people rallying to support the "poor kid" who was "unjustly" shot by the cop. Not to mention the emotional trauma of being forced to kill a child in the first place.

Won't somebody please think of the children?!?
2002-09-06 03:50:33 AM

pollo did you know this kid?

You've been here long enough to know what to expect.

I'm sorry he made a bad choice. I'm sorry he is dead

Really man, what do you expect here? Sympathy? He made a really bad decision.
2002-09-06 03:55:15 AM
sweater girl, some people just care more about complete strangers than others. its just how it is. i cant help but think about the awful state of that kids mind before he died, just as i cant help to think about whats going through the cops head right now. its really quite depressing.
2002-09-06 04:01:31 AM
I'm sorry if I'm coming off a little harsh about this particular subject, for some reason it really just rubbed me the wrong way. Its just the fact that he was 14, and I feel this was, though unavoidable, very tragic. I'm not saying everyone should start sending flowers or anything, I just think that at 14 you still have yet to really experience life, therefore you don't fully comprehend the consequences of your actions. I'm sure this kid knew that pointing a gun at people, real or not, is wrong; but do you think that when he pointed that gun at the cop he was thinking "gee... I hope he shoots me, I want to die." And if so, do you think that he really is old enough to comprehend the choice hes making to die?
2002-09-06 04:01:55 AM
I had a neighbor back in Ga who was the cop in some big child-shooting case in DC where the kid had pointed a cap gun at him in the dark and said "you're dead, cop". He shot the kid. The family's outraged. He did what he needed to do to protect himself not knowing it wasn't a real gun. The press swooped in and now he's a murderer. He re-lives it every day and dreams about it every night. God damn liberal media.

Yes, guns kill. Mine will too, if you threaten me or my child.
2002-09-06 04:06:53 AM
No, tragic is when a clown dies.

Scratch that. That's pretty funny.

Actually, tragic is when an electrical fire wipes out an entire family that was sleeping. Tragic is when a couple of madmen crash jetliners into a building because "Allah" told them so. Tragic is not some kid, who's old enough to know right from wrong, points a gun (even if it is a BB gun) at a cop and is blown away.

That's just stupid.
2002-09-06 04:07:32 AM
And BTW, my child's 14. Lives with me full-time. 14-year olds do stupid stuff, but I couldn't imagine the lack of parenting that would cause a kid to point a toy gun at a cop. That's just stupid. Not being callous, but duh.
2002-09-06 04:15:52 AM
adults tend to underestimate children way too much. at 14, someone is fully aware of what death is. and more than likely, knows full well that pointing a gun at a cop eqauls death. but if your the loner, and everyday is a living hell because no one accepts you, and you are constintly ridiculed, no matter how loving the parents may be, you are going to hate life. i know, ive been there. but i am also a religious man, and that kept me from killing myself as a kid. thankfully too. things are infinitly better, and i hate to think of what all i would have missed out on. its just ashame this kid had no hope at all
2002-09-06 04:16:32 AM
I hope the "STUPID" tag is referring to the kid, and not the police.

You have to be a special kind of stupid to point a gun, ANY gun, at police officers.
2002-09-06 04:40:36 AM
The gene pool cleanses itself over time. In a tribal society, the story of the person who did something that got them whacked would be spread far and wide, becoming embellished along the way so that the person did less and less to achieve a greater and greater result.

Thus, we should not feel sorry for this child, nor should we mock his stupidity and ignorance. No my friends, we should sit here secure in knowing that uncle chuck is still with us with his bottle of chlorine and his scum scooper.

And shall we hope that the story of the kid that got popped by a cop for pointing a BB gun at him spreads far and wide so that it becomes common sense.

No wait, that already happened YEARS ago, which is why most toy guns have bright ass orange tips.
2002-09-06 04:40:43 AM
Uh, Sweatergirl... let it go and go to bed. Don't take me wrong at all, I'm totally on your side, but don't give Pollo the satisfaction of continuing his argument.

It's not really anyone's fault that the kid died besides his own direct actions. I'm sure his parents and possibly even the community had something to do with this, but tragedies happen all of the time. This kid was disturbed, but he made a mistake which made him dead.

He's still stupid for having done it. And that is a fact.

Pollo, you couldn't have saved the kids life. And I'm sure if you were the cop, and you did your job well, you would have pulled that trigger too.
2002-09-06 04:44:22 AM
You just don't go running around with a gun of ANY kind, whether it is real or fake. B.B. Guns look real enough.
On my Boobies, what I actually meant was I don't blame the cops for what happened.
2002-09-06 04:48:33 AM
Here's my take, ,whether anyone cares or not, so snide remarks are uneeded.

If child >= 10 and owns anything resembling a gun and has the boss to point or take it out in front of a cop, expect to be dead. Children today in age who dont know by 10 that guns and cops dont mix unless it's the cops gun, then your future is a wasteland anyway. Appropriate tag would have been moron or dipshiat.
2002-09-06 04:53:38 AM
You would think I would remember about the filter after close to 3 years.

DUH !!!!!
2002-09-06 04:54:39 AM
Maybe the priests made the kid do it, with all their hypnopowers of predation?
2002-09-06 04:54:41 AM
I'm not happy about it but it's entirely his own fault
2002-09-06 04:55:12 AM
My god, are you people illiterate? Have you actually read any of my comments? I have said in every post I've made that I blame the cop for nothing, he did what he had to do. All I've said is that its pretty heartless & senseless to mock the death of a obviously disturbed child.

You people act like you have to make everything into an argument, If you could get your heads out of your asses for a second you would realize that for the most part I'm agreeing with you. I only disagree with the weak-minded few who feel they have to ridicule this kid even after he has died.

Silly me, I forgot for a second that here on fark people don't actually think before they type. They just try to pound out the wittiest response they can before someone else beats them to it.
2002-09-06 04:56:16 AM
Wait - they "confronted him" and then he "suddenly spun around with a gun pointed at them"? So they "confronted" his back and he turned to see what the shouting was about. Way to give the kid a chance to drop his weapon...

And it happened right after they got a call about a kid with a BB gun. Give the cops a medal for intelligence - right before you toss them in pound-me-in-the-ass federal prison for manslaughter.
