Have we learned nothing? What you call yourself and what others are allowed to call you are two different things.

Referring to a woman in a powerful position by her first name definitely is sexist.

Everyone says Rudy, too. Goddamn men haters.

It would help if we knew what to call her...Rodham? Clinton? Rodham-Clinton?

I would like to see this "lengthy" article that focused "primarily" on the color of scarves, because people don't give a shiat about that.

And if anyone whines about "Hillary" to me, I'm just going to refer to her as "Senator B*tch" when I'm in their presence, just to piss them off.

No, it's not disrespectful, it's a left-wing media conspiracy to create a feeling of familiarity with her, making her seem more "one of us" and likable.

"Gooble gobble, gooble gobble, we accept her, we accept her, one of us, one of us!"

Hillary, Obama, Richardson, Edwards, Rudy, McCain, Romney...

Sounds better and is clearer than

Clinton, Barack, Bill, John, Gulliani, John, Mitt..

But doesn't have the ring as

Schmuck, Schmuck, Schmuck, Schmuck, Schmuck, Schmuck...

In NY in 2000 the lawn signs said:

GORE
LIEBERMAN
HILLARY

"Hillary" isn't disrespectful. If you called her a vicious, vindictive, opportunistic harpy with no vision, that would be disrespectful.

Hillary is CHOOSING to run as "Hillary", and I believe it's specifically to avoid being too closely associated with her Hubby, who for better or worse is still the "guy who got head in the oval office" in many peoples eyes.

Obama is going by that from what I can tell, probably cause Barack sounds like a villan from Space Ghost.

Pretty much none of the rest of the democratic nominees matter, they could be running as "schmuck, Schmuck and Schmuck".

Most of the others will run by the last names for name recognition. Guliani I believe is running as Rudy cause it's a distinctive first name, and downplays the "foreigner" sounding last name.

This is why I say "President Bush" when I refer to President Bush.

Not Bush.
Not Chimpy.
Not Dumbass.

Because although I don't like the man, he has a title, and I respect the office the title represents.

/salute the rank, not the man.

Poooor Hillary,

She can't Hep' it, she was born with a silver ______ in her mouth."

That's the most interesting butchering of an Ann Richards quote about Dubya I've ever seen.

meh. so...she has the same last name as another very prominent politico ...but there's only one person/woman named hillary running.

this columnist is looking for something to be outraged about...

keep in mind, i bet most of america would respond to "What is your opinion of Sen. Clinton?" with "I didn't know he became senator after president?!?"
