Oh, subby, quit trying to play the poor republican victim. Your schtick is old and no one cares anymore.

Good news never sells.

It's easy to feel safe when you're wearing body armor, surrounded by 100 heavily armed US troops, have snipers on nearby roof tops and a attack helicopter hovering above. This was the situation when McCain was "shopping" at that market. Not to mention they shut down all vehicle traffic flowing in an out of the entire region.

He has also appologized for his comments regarding the safety of the region.

McCain is a liar and a Moron.

2007-04-08 11:53:19 PM
They shouldn't be giving him any attention. At all.

2007-04-08 11:55:12 PM
By talking about how safe it is in baghdad, isn't he undercutting the troops? Minimalizing their sacrifice? Lying?

Anyway it HASN'T been ignored by the media, the media has been laughing at him. Pay attention...

Don't make the mistake of believing Neo-Cons are concerned about the welfare of our troops. In their mind all US military personnel are expendable when exercising their political agendas.

How about a trolling moron? : )

Just because subby isn't paying attention doesn't mean something's not being reported. McCain's ridiculous statements on the safety of walking through the streets of Baghdad have been widely quoted and mocked.

2007-04-09 12:06:49 AM
Every single statement by your politician should receive exactly equal press coverage no matter how different they are in content and context. Otherwise, the media is conspiring against your politician. Isn't that right, subby?

Yep, things in Iraq are certainly getting better, and as soon as we can assign a hundred troops and five helicopters to escort everyone, things will be tickety-boo all over the place.

As a 5th-generation Arizonan, I beg the rest of this nation to please ignore this opportunist asshole politician. If he'd been born into any other family, he'd be on VanBuren Street here in PHX, sucking cock for crack.

When attending union meetings @24th & Thomas, if I'm with the wife we stay at the Embassy suites on Thomas. If I'm by myself I go to the Motel 6 on 24th & VanBuren. Quite a change of scenery!

Doesn't anyone remember the classics anymore? "Everything is tickety-boo," a song from Merry Andrew (1958), sung by Danny Kay, lyrics by Johnny Mercer, cited by Eddie the Onboard Computer in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Even if McCain weren't a douchebag, he'd still be pissing money away campaigning, because the chances of another Republican winning the White House on the heels of George W. Farkup are pretty slim.

Umm...what about all the mindless sheep down south who all vote straight ticket conservative Republican because their pastors tell them to? The GOP doesn't have to work for those votes, at all, so they can work on the swing voters much, much more. And I'll bet they'll catch up and pass the Dems on the fundraising front when the wealthy realize they could lose a tool.

Yes, if only some major newspaper would let Sen. McCain write a column talking about how rosy things are in Iraq right now. Then things might be different.

There's no hate like liberal hate.

Conservatives wrote the book on hate. In fact, the very premise of modern "conservatism" is based entirely on hate and exclusion. Yet, when someone from the other side gets a taste of their own BS, they start whining about how hate filled the "libruls" are.

Fark you. If there was a way to flip you off over the internet, I'd do it.

If it's so great let's start taking some troops out. Opps I guess it's not quite as safe as Pander Bear seems to think. This administration didn't admit there was a problem for years, it was the press not reporting the "good stories". Bush suddenly got interested after the Iraq Study Group came back with the conclusion that a phased withdrawal might be the way to go. So to sum up everything was going great till November of 06, Bush has a little less than 1/2 of his surge in and just 3 months later we are turning a corner. If that was true imagine how many lives could have been saved if they had started the surge in 2004, 2005 or 2006?

Doesn't make things liberals do right.
