I can't remember the last time we heard from Farrakkkhan. I don't think we even heard peep from him after the Michael Richards meltdown.

This is a case of a gifted speaker (one of the best I have ever heard, ever) with a distorted message.

Spent too much of his time back pedaling and on ethnic disparaging. "White mens is the devil" however when I went to the speak it was that White, powerful men who controlled the government were evil. Not the common run of the mill Caucasian.

If he had applied his mind to improving Black and Muslim, in fact all communities, rather than division, he would have been phenomenal. As it is though....see ya.

You could be right. It certainly is something he'd say. I only remember Spike Lee spouting off those theories, which is why I have not yet seen When the Levees Broke until I know for a fact he doesn't go into that shiat in the movie.

Speaking as a "whitey" I used to just snicker at the NOI and in the same breath Malcom X at thier Klan like remarks. Then I learned more about Mr. X and how he ditched the NOI with his "wild" viewes that not all White people were evil and needed to be killed, it was the Govt with its outaded views that needed to be changed and not through violence. I guess he was quickly becomming the worlds first "moderate" muslim, ahead of his time. It may just be the white guy in me but I think ol Louis was the one who killed him over that "outlandish thinking".
