Is this the same gel that got a great headline late last year?

"New gel senses semen and devours it on contact. This gel, known as "Your Mom," is going to be useful in the fight against AIDS"

Scientists and groups like the Gates Foundation have long sought a method of protection women could use, even without their partners' knowledge, since many men refuse to use condoms.

I think we may have uncovered the root of the problem there.

The problem with getting people to use contraception in countries like this is that AIDS activists are trying to kill two birds with one stone. They are often trying to fix the sexist culture instead of just trying to prevent AIDS. Advertisements always seem to focus on BOTH women's rights and AIDS.

Also, it's become an urban legend in some places that condoms have AIDS in them because it is a plot by the Americans to kill Africans. Some people believe it (hmmm I wonder which church--I mean person, started that one).

Shouldn't they have been testing TGN1412 on Africans and Indians too?
